"Should we tell him?" It was Aaliya that asked the question that has been eating all of them, worried.

"Absolutely not." Layla that sat next to her mumbled quickly shaking her head.

Even though her whole attention was somewhere else while she scroll through her phone, that was one statement that couldn't pass without her inputs, just that she doesn't want to be the one to bring it up.

"Come on..." Humaira also chip in as she trail. "He is just 24..."

"Exactly." Layla said gesturing with her hand, finally raising her head to look between her sisters. "Crazy, stupid and in love...this is the only time he gets to be all three." She pointed out nonchalantly.

"He has being all three ever since he was born..." Aaliya rants with a regrettable chuckle.

And to that, Layla only nodded in agreement looking at her sister then said. "You're finally opening your eyes."

"The point here is, when he gets to 30 with two or three kids, he has to be responsible. A father, responsible for the lives of four or more people." Humaira explain in a serious tone.

"And if he fail to be, then he may fail all his life, then they became our responsibility, the three of us we all know it, I wonder why we're not discussing that." Aaliya again said looking at her sisters hopeful. Especially Layla whom seems as nonchalantly to the issue as ever.

Aaliya waited for her reply as she exchange look with Humaira whom shrugged indicating she doesn't know what is going on with Layla either.

Aaliya roller her eyes with annoyance then lean in and snatched the phone Layla had her whole attention on. "He doesn't even have a job yet, beside who better than you, his favorite sister that he even moved in with to tell us what is going on" She added in a high pitch voice.

Layla sighed folding her hands to her stomach, still as nonchalantly as ever, she asked.
"Are you ready to start a war with his mother...?" She raise her brow waiting for her response but when Aaliya only swallow a lump, Layla went on with.

"Trust me, you, stopping her son from getting married is as good as declaring a war with them both. Let Shuraim do Shuraim and we watch and do us like we have always done."

Layla advised, simple while saving them a whole lot bunch of arguing and anger with Umma and her pet.

"And just because he lived at my house..." Layla trailed snatching her phone back. "We still hardly get along. Sometimes we spend the whole day without uttering a word to each other."

"I still don't understand why Abdulazeez and Umma are okay with that..." Aaliya trail not for the first time suspicious as she glance at Humaira for support.

Knowing exactly where this is going, Layla was quick to push the matter back to Shuraim's.

"I blame the girl's family, you give your daughter's hand in marriage to a complete idiot that doesn't even have a job yet." She let out emphasizing more on the idiot.

"Young, crazy, stupid and in love. Anyone against them now is their enemy." Humaira mumbled as she quote Layla's earlier words which made Layla to nod her head happily.

Aaliya sighed for the umpteenth times not at all surprised by Layla's nonchalantly attitude cause it has taken its cause. She has being a complete not helping in a while.

"Are you afraid of being their enemy?" She asked glancing at Layla's phone to see what's taking her attention.

Layla contemplate on her answer as she let Aaliya's words sink it.
"Am just exhausted with life it self..." She mumbled sincerely, raising her head to meet the two curious eyes.
