The day roll by in a daze, with all of them having different things to do. Layla mostly staying with Umma and doing small chores for her.
Since Shuraim's cousin has also gone home to freshen up. Shuraim and Abdulazeez are at the lobby doing only God knows what.
She chatted with Jawad, which further rilled her up cause he told her he is on his way home. And have everything ready for their departure, which is around 9 o'clock at night.
Is not that she doesn't want to leave with him, right now she is more sure of that than anything, but then one moment she is scared, the next she is confused, asking herself if this is the best.
She has been more absent minded to most of the conversation Umma manage to bring up to her to the extent that Umma asked if everything is okay.
Around 5 in the evening, the Doctor stopped by for the evening roll and lucky for them, he asked them to process the discharge papers which instantly, Layla informed Shuraim to do while arrange their things.
Even as she does so, she had her mind somewhere else thinking what could be the best? Is it to tell Umma that she has to leave the country for work for a few days or just leave without telling anyone.
Well, the formal sounds more mature and that way, it will be less suspicious to all the people around them and of course, Abdulazeez can do as he wants and answer as he wishes.
The small knock on the door follow by the jerking of it was what brought Layla out of her stance as she turned to it.
Not at all surprised by the person that walk through it, she turned back to her thing without giving him as much as a regard while Umma instantly lighten up.
Praying and thanking him for all that he has done, that Layla felt her ears bleed by Umma's words. She set the small bag which is for change of clothe they brought for Umma including her necessities, on the floor making a sound.
Why is he still here? This is something he has never done before, this wasn't the first time Umma or someone from her family has been hospitalized, but he has never set his foot where they are.
Part of her just knew that he is doing his possible best to frustrate the hell out of her and he has succeeded.
She turned to Umma with her anger and frustration reaching it's peak. "Do you need help getting down Umma?"
Layla literally snapped knowing she can't continue listening to Abdulazeez's pretend voice without having the urge to shout.
Both Umma and Abdulazeez took a minute as they both set their gaze on her, for Umma baffled and for Abdulazeez, knowing exactly what it is about.
Abdulazeez cleared his voice while Umma eyed Layla whom already got hold of her hand, in her attempt to help her get down.
"I will just go and turn the car around..."Abdulazzez started when a big scoff coming from Layla's mouth cut him off.
"No Abdulazeez..." She trailed impatient just when the door was pushed open and that didn't come close to stopping her cause her eyes are shut by anger. "Is okay. We can handle this ourselves. Why don't you just get lost."
A one minute silence took over the place as Umma and Shuraim glance at each other with Abdulazeez standing between them.
"Layla...?" Umma called questionable with a warning voice, looking at her daughter confused. This is definitely not a way to treat the man that has been here all day looking after them.
Layla didn't spare Umma a glance before she turn to Abdulazeez looking at him with such hostility, that will make any person receiving it think twice before coming near her.
