Mias POV:
I slept the whole flight, thankfully, because according to Lando, my brother and Charles had been winding themselves up about the threat of flying pregnant, to the point where they'd almost decided we were going to swim to the next race.

We had a car waiting for us at the airport, for Charles to drive, as his newest rule, was that nobody else would be driving me anywhere.

'That makes things so difficult. Why can't I just get an international licence so I can drive myself?' I asked.

'Because it's dangerous. And I don't want anyone else driving you because of what happened when a lorry hit your car.' He explained, hands tensing on the steering wheel as he spoke.

'You know I still have to work.' I argued.

'Oh, I know. And I knew you'd be like this, too.' He responded, passing me a piece of paper, not taking his eyes off of the road.

'Have you planned this whole speech?' I mumbled, opening it up.

'Something like that, yeah.'

'You've written me a list of content?' I asked.

'I haven't. Max has.' He explained.

'Max Fewtrell?' I questioned.

'You worked so well with him previously that Lando insisted it continue. He got a job for him with McLaren and is starting this week, with you. Your workload was never healthy and now you're carrying our baby it definitely will not be continuing. Even if that means having another man accompany you for the rest of the season.' He rambled.

'If you treat me as incapable one more time.' I said, scrunching up the paper and rolling down the window, about to throw it out, before he grabbed my wrist.

'You're not incapable. You're my fiancé and you are carrying our baby. In the entire year I have known you, you have almost died 2 times. And that has been due to this place and this place alone. I will not let anything happen to you again so do not argue it.' He said, slowly lowering my hand and taking the paper from me.

'I need to eat.' I mumbled.

'As long as this is settled?' He asked, moving his hand from the gearstick to my stomach, rubbing it softly.

'Settled. But this is the only control you're having over my career for the rest of the season Charles. Just because I am pregnant does not make me weak.' I said, firmly.

'Oh, baby, I know. You're the strongest woman I've ever met, and I thought that before you were pregnant.' He responded.

'I'm stressed about hiding it.' I said, leaning back in my seat a little, allowing the bump to pop as full as it could.

I ran my hand over the bump, smiling as it rounded.

'So don't hide it. Let the world know whenever you want, Angel. I'm ready whenever you are.' He said, placing his hand behind my seat as he reversed into a parking space at the track, making my heart speed up.

We were straight in for practice 1 today, as our last fun day in Monaco had meant we'd left slightly later than anticipated, making 5 drivers late for testing, meaning they were going in blind.

'When does Max start?' I asked, sitting forwards, pulling down my tshirt and putting a hoodie over my head.

'Not until tomorrow unfortunately.' Charles said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

'You and I both know that you'd not have allowed this if you didn't like him.' I said, teasing him.

'Oh I like him, he's a great guy. But I don't like any man around my fiancé. You know the drill.' He shrugged, kissing me quickly before getting out of the car, walking around to open my door for me.
