Calm down, Izuku. Kaminari-kun will be okay. He always coughs up blood, right? No, no, no-don't panic! Vomiting blood is different! This is bad!Desperately, Midoriya looked up at Hawks. "Please, call Recovery Girl!"
Hawks nodded. "An ambulance is already on its way," he reassured.
"But if you want Recovery Girl, I'll contact her too. Chill out, Midoriya. A hero never works under pressure."
Midoriya adjusted his grip on the unconscious Denki, his hands carefully supporting his fragile, pretty friend.
His emerald eyes burned with frustration as he shot a piercing glare at Hawks.
"Call Recovery Girl," he said sharply, his tone brooking no argument.
His arms trembled slightly under the weight, but Midoriya stood firm, his determination unwavering despite the chaos.
Hawks raised an eyebrow at the commanding tone, yet hesitated for a moment too long.
Midoriya's glare intensified.
"I said, call Recovery Girl. Or do you need a lesson on what 'working under pressure' actually looks like?".
The Next Day at the Trauma Centre, where Denki had done his internship on Recovery Girl's recommendation
Denki felt like he was tethering between life and death. Everything felt weird and wrong at the same time.
He hears the distorted voices telling him to
'Get up'
'Get up'
'GET UP!'.
Denki jolt awake and looked around wildly at his surroundings.
His heart was beating too loudly and his head was pounding as if someone stuffed cotton into it and stitched it back up.
Denki groaned and fell back onto the bed wincing as a burning sensation in his hand.
His involuntary jerk pulled painfully on the needle of the inserted IV drip.
Denki began doing breathing exercises to steady himself but dark spots danced before his vision. strangely enough, he had not even used his quirk.
Was it because of the accidental time traveling back fiasco?.
The early morning sunlight streamed gently through the window panes, casting a warm glow across the room.
Denki's tired eyes fell on the calendar. October 14th-Wednesday.
His heart sank. Today was the day of the top-secret meeting with the other Pro Heroes and his friends at Sir Nighteye's agency would take place around noon or before it.
He cursed under his breath.
He needed to gather solid evidence related to Eri before the meeting started. Time was ticking, and the urgency weighed heavily on his mind. First, he had to find out if Nurse Saitama was on duty here at the trauma center.
And if Plan A failed? Denki thought grimly. He'd need someone to back him up. Fortunately, he knew exactly who could pull the strings for him-Principal Nezu.
As if summoned by his thoughts, Nurse Saitama entered the room, the clipboard in their hands slipping and clattering onto the disinfected floor. Their eyes widened in shock as they took in the sight of a pale and exhausted Denki, now awake.
Planting their hands on their hips, they exclaimed, "Kaminari-kun, do you have any idea what kind of havoc your green-haired friend caused at the reception area yesterday? You were unconscious in their arms, and they caused a scene! In my 40 years here, I've never seen Recovery Girl this furious about a stunt!".
Denki swallowed hard at Nurse Saitama's words.
Just what on earth had Midoriya done this time?.
