Luna's leg bounced as she sat in front of Fex's room door. Which, had been closed for nearly a day now. The Irinaut had went to bed early that day, and not come out since. It was falling late into the night, and Luna had yet to see him, but that didn't stop her from talking.

"Fex, do you think mom and papa are coming back soon?" She pulled her legs to her chest, 'Maybe they'll message us from the new ship.' Luna hummed softly, but her body was itching to leave. She couldn't get over her worry. It had been days now, and the silence was finally getting to her, but Fex just would not budge, "Fex?" The young queen called out, "Do you hear me in there? She patted the door, "Hello?"

Fex sat quietly in his bed, his body hunched over as he clasped is head. The ruby eyed male couldn't explain what was wrong with himself, but he just felt angry. Angry with being left there, even though parts of him felt honored for the task, he wasn't handling it well.

Luna had spent most of the day at the door. She would leave occasionally, but instantly returned to inform Fex about whatever she was doing. Whether it be heating up some soup or doing her studies, she was there to tell him.

The teen frowned at the silence. She groaned before standing up, 'Fex, can you please answer me?' Luna whined softly, 'I really just want to get ahold of them to make sure they made it. If I could just send one message then I'll know they're okay at least. Please?'

Silence followed again, but not for long this time. The door came open, and Fex came through. He looked tired. The male's eyes were heavy, his jaw clenched, and his body uneasy. The midnight skinned Irinaut was used to being alone, but he hadn't had to take care of someone like this. He felt lost himself. It wasn't often he was placed with such an important task, but even then, it was because his temper wasn't trusted.

Luna's doll eyes widened. She smiled softly before going to speak, but Fex barked out.

'You cannot message them, Luna. It would go to Lou and his followers before Osa and Raven ever saw it.' The male hummed, 'They will be back.' Fex couldn't help but roll his eyes, 'Your father is a tough bastard and your mother is one of the most fearless humans I have met. I think you will live not speaking with them for a few more days.'

The teen's smile immediately faded, her jaw dropped, 'It is just one message, Fex!' The teen sulked, "How do we even know they're okay!?" Luna began to hold on to her loosely braided hair. She couldn't help but feel stressed about all of this, "Fex maybe you could send the message! Then no one would know it was me! Please? Just you do this one thing for me? Once they message back I'll leave you alone I swear. I-I just want to make sure they made it alright."

Fex snarled. The questions often got to him. Especially when she started spouting off in the human tongue. The Irinaut didn't always understand or he struggled to catch up. Luna had been so stressed, she couldn't seem to hold her thoughts or words together in one place. As she mentioned him sending the message, the Irinaut held up his hands and sighed, 'Alright, we will type up a message to send, but then you leave me be about it. Is that a deal?'

Luna's expression changed as immediate relief came. She wanted nothing more than to just message her parents to make sure that the group was alright. They meant everything to her, and with them both gone, she couldn't help but feel a bit stressed about the matter. They were all she knew, 'I'll leave you alone about it. I promise. I just want to make sure that everything is alright.'

Fex's brow raised. The Irinaut made a soft clicking noise before gesturing to the control room, 'Alright. Come on. I don't have all day.'

Luna smiled brightly. She clasped her hands together before prancing lightly on her toes. She reached out and hugged Fex, "Oh thank you Fex!"
