"I'm, dying?" Raven could hardly get the words out. The woman rested on a pile of blankets. She pushed herself up, "W-What about the baby? What about Luna?" Raven's eyes swelled with tears, "What about you?" She brought her hand up to his cheek. The woman felt so selfish in all of this. The idea of dying brought an ache to her chest and an instant fear for her family. She wasn't ready to leave, "There really isn't anything they can do, Osa? You're certain?"
Osa watched her sit up; cautiously moving around her or helping her adjust. It was obvious he was crying, but the male did his best to hold himself together, "I'm afraid you will not make it to term, my love." Osa's entire body was completely sulked. The Irinaut was hunched over as he listened to her speak. When she held his cheek, his eyes went back to her, "They have had failed second pregnancies a few times now."
Sage just stood in the corner of the room, her attention focused on the couple. The woman couldn't believe what she was hearing, "What about Luna?" She spoke up, "Do you really think they know about her?"
Zio had begun focusing on their gear; cleaning it, checking for damage, and obviously just seeming to attempt to distract himself from what was going on. Zio hissed out. He was clearly frustrated, 'They must know something.' The male hated this. All of it. Raven had brought them all together as much as Osa had. Her and Sage were as much one of them as Luna.
"He suspects." Osa brushed his hand over Raven's head, "This death glow gave it away, and he believes we have no reason to hide a child. We may have no choice but to tell him about Luna."
Raven's eyes widened. The woman shook her head no immediately, "O-Osa you can't. What if it's all a lie?" She was crying now, finding herself pressed against Osa, "I want to go home. I, I just want to get back to my daughter." The woman didn't have any other worry at this point aside from spending time with her family, "I want to go home, Osa."
Osa nodded his head, but his expression was obviously a stressed one, "Raven, we may not be able to make it back on foot with your condition. You need to be in a bed and comfo-"
"I want to go back to my daughter, Osa! I want to be there with her and you and out this damned place!" Raven felt so many things all at once, but she found herself on repeat. Her feelings were rushing through her mind, causing her to be frantic, "I, I just want to go home." Raven had all of her weight against Osa as she held her stomach. The woman really couldn't believe this was happening.
The purple skinned Irinaut whined softly. He kissed her forehead gently before giving a light nod of his head, "You wish to go home, we will go home." His heart was glowing that vibrant gold, his cheeks filled with that same vibrant color. Osa didn't know what else to do aside from take her home to be at peace.
Zio showed his teeth, his eyes widened as he barked out, 'Osa, if we go back to the ship we could risk losing the chance we have here.' He whined lowly, 'They know about Luna. We cannot hide that any longer.'
Osa glanced back at Zio. His stare was cold and without much expression. The male wiped over his face, 'We will tell them about Luna. We have no choice. If it means they will give us aid and possibly get Raven home, then I'm willing to do so.'
'What if it is a mistake?' Zio hissed, 'What if they are bluffing?' The alpha wanted nothing more then to get Raven home, but he also couldn't bare the thought of putting Luna in danger.
Osa growled lowly, 'We have no choice, Zio. The worst that could happen is they attempt to force us into giving them a location.' He sighed softly, 'I need to give her this. If nothing else. I want her to see our daughter with what time she has left.' The Irinaut wasn't by any means happy. His thoughts were raging as he blamed himself for all of this. Raven meant everything to him. He didn't know what he was going to do without her.
Raven breathed softly as she rested against Osa. She knew he and Zio were speaking, but she didn't care. Nothing mattered aside from getting home, "Just get us home, Osa." She spoke calmly. Raven wanted to come to terms with this. She wasn't ready to die. Her heart was throbbing in her chest, and it took everything for her to stay calm herself. Even though her own mind was racing.
Osa's attention turned back to Raven. He hummed softly; a low whine came from him, "I will get us home."
Zio hissed out, 'Osa-'
The Irinaut gently laid Raven back, "You rest. I will find us a way back, yes?" Osa glanced back at Zio and Sage, "Sage, please take care of Raven. I won't be gone long." He gave Zio a glare before gesturing out the door. He had full intentions on getting Raven back to Luna somehow.
Sage immediately went over to Raven's bedside. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, or that this was happening, "I'll take care of her Osa." She wiped her palm over her cheeks. The woman couldn't even bring herself to say not to worry. She was worried, as was everyone else. Raven was the only human left that she trusted and without a doubt would defend, "If something happens I'll come get you."
Osa looked over Raven once more before turning to the door. He and Zio immediately barking and whining at one another in menacing snarls. It was clear both of them were tense.
'I am getting her home, Zio, and that's it.' Osa growled out lowly, 'Please do not test me now.'
'Osa we do not even have any idea what they are planning. Are you willing to risk everything we have worked for because of Raven's last wishes? We could lose everything!'
Osa abruptly stopped. His fists curled as that golden glow flowed vigorously through him. The Irinaut's eyes were flooded gold, and the tears had not stopped, 'Zio, I am about to lose what has made everything matter to me.' He whined lowly, 'That made all of this matter.' Osa's gaze wasn't cold, but pure pain. He swallowed, 'She gave us this chance, and I will be damned to Yok if I do not carry out her wish to see the miracle that she blessed all of us with one last time.' The male's heart was throbbing, 'Go back to the room if you do not wish to be a part of this, but I am doing what I feel is right.'
