The body is a strange thing. I wonder if my body has a mind of its own. The muscles, tensed and ready, never resting, seem to have their own rhythm. The stomach is always hungry, a constant gnawing in my gut, demanding to be fed. And the heart, always there, thumping away, reminding me that I'm still alive.

But I can't escape it. No matter how many mutagens I inject in myself, or the poisons I drink, I still feel it. The blood rushing through my veins, carrying with it every battle I fought, every wound I've taken. Every scar is a reminder, a mark of survival. The body is just as much a battlefield as the world outside. And unlike any monster, this one never gives me a break.

Lisa: I'm done with the analysis. Want to hear the results cutie?

This is so boring. Why do you even need to be checked up by her? Aren't you immune to diseases?

Y/N: Obviously.

Lisa: (clears throat) Immune system is in excellent condition, mTOR and SIRT1 pathways show no signs of aging. Autophagy, mitochondrial function, and protein quality control are way beyond human capabilities. Immune response five times that of a human's. You have intestinal failure. The heart has three additional muscles and your kidney is a mystery to me. No senescent cells have been identified in your body which is a surprise. Telomeres are longer than they should for your age, and stem cells are youthful and plentiful.

Y/N: In other words, nothing's changed.

Lisa: Nothing's changed? You mean to tell you knew all along about these abnormal phenomenas in your body and didn't bother to tell me?

She used magic, that stuff isn't reliable. She definitely got something wrong.

Y/N: I thought you'd figured it out already. Considering that I'm immune to diseases and regenerate faster than usual.

Lisa: Do you even understand what I just told you? If I'm right your cells not only regenerate to an infinite amount but also reproduce. Do you understand what that means?

Y/N: I know what my body is capable of woman. Say, did you find anything strange in my bloodstream?

Lisa: Strange? Your blood is toxic, and it's darker than it should be.

Y/N: That all?

Lisa: What do you mean that all? I have never seen anything like it.

Y/N: My lungs are also bigger than usual, if I remember it right.

Lisa: Did you get checked by anyone else?

Y/N: Not really. I don't need doctors. My wounds heal fast, my metabolism can kill any virus, and if I get seriously wounded then I'll just down a potion.

Lisa: From what I saw, your body has the ability to replace lost limbs.

Y/N: And bones. Why do you think all my ribs and teeth are all there?

Lisa: Did you ever lose a limb?

Y/N: No. Lost plenty of teeth. They regrow after two weeks. Actually I did lose a finger once. Regenerated in two days.

Lisa: Two days!? And here I thought I knew all about your body. Are there any more secrets you didn't tell me?

Y/N: Plenty. There are things still I don't know how they work. Like how adrenaline is pumped into my system, if it's pumped at all.
