To be or not to be, what a load of pretentious bullshit. Shakespeare spins that like it's some deep, existential dilemma, as if the choice to exist or vanish is some kind of luxury. Like people out here have time to sit under candlelight and ponder their own morality while sipping wine and wearing tuxedos. That line's worshipped like scripture, but it sounds like someone afraid to make a move.
That moron never had to claw his way through death traps just to take one more breath. He never had to look at the world through the scope of a rifle and weigh the worth of pulling the trigger. If he did, he wouldn't have written questions. He would've written answers.
Phoenix: You are being such a meanie today~
What a troublesome woman. I decide to pay her a visit and instead of being cordially offered a meal she starts dragging me into her bedroom. Naturally I resisted, and it's not like she has enough force to actually pull me.
Legend: I'm really not in the mood.
Phoenix: But you never are! How could I convince? How about foreplay? You like that sort of stuff don't you?
Legend: Not particularly.
Phoenix: So, what will it be? How about brother-sister role-play?
Hey! Only I can play that game with you!
Legend: How about you calm yourself? You're more bothered than a teenager.
Phoenix: Hey, brother! Remember when we took baths together when we were kids? Wouldn't it be nostalgic to do it one more time? Like the good old days~
She's good. I need to take notes.
Legend: I hate the phrase "like the good old days". It implies life was better in the past, which is untrue.
Phoenix: Speaking of the past, I had this idea.
Legend: Here we go again.
Phoenix: What if for one day you would spend time with Ravel, and I would spend time with Issa?
Legend: Terrible idea.
Phoenix: Why? It's perfect. I would get to know Issa more, and you'll do the same with Ravel.
Legend: Listen, woman. Ravel and I are already acquainted. We had plenty of time considering we live in the same manor.
Phoenix: Oh please, you're so busy with the whole Legend of the Night persona and ruling the underworld that Ravel gets lonely.
Who cares about Ravel? Let's go fuck shit up.
Legend: Fine then, I'll give you a choice. Either spend the day with Issa, or do it with me.
Phoenix: Okay, should we continue the brother-sister play or should we change it?
You really shouldn't spend so much time around her.
Legend: You didn't even hesitate.
Phoenix: Why would I? I love you more than anything.
Legend: What about Ravel? Would you choose me over her?
Phoenix: Don't give me questions like that.
Remember, sometimes when girls say no they actually mean yes.
Legend: Answer this one and I might stop in the future.
Phoenix: I don't know. It depends. I really love you but...
Legend: Ravel is your daughter.
Phoenix: Exactly.
What about her son? She always "forgets" to mention him.
Legend: Here's a better idea. Why don't you just take both Issa and Ravel out?
