Dear Diary,
"So, I told her... maybe they shouldn't be together." Jason nodded deeply as he sipped his Icee. "I'm right, right?"
"Totally," he said. "I've noticed a huge decline in Suki in the past month. I figured it was all the Devon junk, but now that I'm hearing about Claire..." He shook his head and frowned. "I can give her stable duty for a month if we can catch her breaking a rule."
I blinked in surprise. "Wow. The great Jason Grace, willing to frame a girl for being a bad partner?"
"Hey man, if the shoe fits-"
"No, I'm all for it," I admitted.
Jason raised his eyebrows. "I thought you were a stick in the mud."
I stomped on his foot, and he winced. "You're spending way too much time with Seb." He winced at that and rubbed his bruised cheekbone. "Seriously, a slap fight?"
"He started it!"
"What'd he say?"
"'What are you gonna do, fight me?'"
"You've lost all of your etiquette since he took you under his wing," I sighed, shaking my head.
"Yeah, but now I know how to buy pants in the right size and boxers that don't hug my meat."
"Eugh. Your meat?" Jason blushed and looked away. "Who are you talking to right now?"
"R-Reyna."
"Yeah, exactly." He slurped more Icee. "Slow down. The show hasn't even started yet."
He held it out to me. "Want some?"
"You have cooties." I shoved it back. "No thanks."
The lights shut off, and everyone in the school began cheering. We saw a few different acts- some trapeze skills, which were a little bit cool, and some singing. But then, I saw ten backup dancers fan out across the stage, with a small gap in the very middle. Sebastian took his place, and a single spotlight landed on him, revealing his green sequin top and white sweats with green stripes. He had on gold sunglasses (indoors) and a single gold chain with a big S on it.
I hung my head. "Oh my gods."
Electronic music came on, and Sebastian began grooving to it. I turned to Jason. "He's not doing this."
Jason nodded. "I- I think he is..."
"Oppan gangnam style."
I held my head in my hands. "How does Suki live with this guy?"
"This might be embarrassing," Jason said to me as the backup dancers began going, "but I still can't do the Gangnam Style dance."
I glared at him. "It's been ten years since you could've learned." He winced. "Even I know how to do it." I watched as Sebastian pranced around, and everyone cheered for him, since this is a catchy song and he's starting to gain more attention. "My go- How did he even get backup dancers for this? For a high school talent show?"
