Dear Diary,

Sebastian got grounded very bad by his mother. So bad, in fact, he was on complete and total house arrest from her. She bought special locks for the doors and only told Suki the code, and then made Suki swear to Jupiter she wouldn't tell Sebastian or write it down for him either, which was clearly a lot of pressure on Suki.

"This sucks ass," Sebastian mumbled, in the same sweatpants from three days ago. "I get stabbed and she grounds me?"

"You pulled a mace on a guy during a party involving alcohol you were not supposed to have access to," I corrected, glaring at him. The bottom of his socks were black, yellow, and green, making me wonder what kind of bacteria he was growing on his feet. "You already got arrested-"

"Acquitted!"

"-and you've got a target on your back. If I was your mom, I'd lock you up, too."

"If you were my mom, I'd be the next Gypsy Rose."

I kicked off my sneakers and stuffed my socks in them. "This will be good for you. Maybe you'll learn how to behave in public. In fact, tomorrow, I'm gonna go to the library, and pick up some books for you. Maybe something about social etiquette."

"Yeah?" He leaned over the bunk and pulled away the sheet on Suki's side so he could glare at me. "You should learn how to be nice to your friends, Reyna."

"We're not friends."

Jason came out of the bathroom, wearing a black suit with a pinkish-red button down. He smiled at me and gave a thumbs up. "I just need to do my hair."

Sebastian whistled. "Looking sharp, bud! Way better than me at my homecoming."

"You went to homecoming?" Jason asked. "With who?"

"Uh- Well, no one, but I went anyway," Sebastian said weirdly. I awkwardly looked away. "But uh... I had no hair and my pants were too short, so I looked just awful. You look good, Jason." He hopped down. "I'm gonna introduce you to something called mousse. Helps my mom a lot."

"Suki's in the bathroom," Jason said.

"Y'know my house has two bathrooms, right?"

"Wha- Where?"

"By the dining room," Sebastian said, stopping to stare at Jason. "It also connects to my mom's room- Dude, you've been coming over to my house for a year, and you didn't know that?"

"Well, n-no."

Sebastian scoffed and rolled his eyes. "We have got to work on your observation skills." He glanced at me. "You should close and lock the door to go ahead and get dressed."

I obliged, which felt a little awkward to be changing in Suki's room, but I got on my dress and my green flats. I unlocked the door to let Suki know it was okay to come in whenever she needed, and I worked on braiding my hair down my shoulder. Lisa had already painted my nails and I don't really like jewelry, so I was nearly ready.

Suki knocked on the door. "Can I come in?"

"Yeah," I answered, finishing off the last of the braid. The door opened as I tied it off with a band, and I turned to see Suki in her sleek dress with a white cardigan, her hair brushed neatly. She even wore a small silver chain, and had on tights the color of her skin to help disguise her leg.
