Matheus walked Lucas to the front door. He still felt a little sleepy and tired. He yawned and rubbed his eyes before opening the door for Lucas.

"See you tomorrow, Matheus. I hope you'll be okay," Lucas said, looking at Matheus with a worried look.

"I will be," Matheus said, lowering his ears, still a little sad and sleepy.

"See you then," the wolf said, turning his back and starting to walk away from Matheus's house.

Matheus watched the wolf walk away for a few seconds before closing the door to his house.

His father would be home in an hour. He felt sleepy and tired. He decided to grab a towel and take a shower. The cold water from the shower and a little liquid soap spread and then rubbed into his fur made him feel better.

He dried himself with the towel and then He dressed in clean clothes, his fur still standing on end like a cat that had just been bathed. Matheus looked in the mirror and saw that some of his fur stood on end and his hair looked like it had been licked. He smiled.

Matheus was already feeling better. The next day, Lucas noticed he was in a much better mood, while Ryan seemed to be sitting still. It was the last class period, and the raccoon was fidgeting in his chair, looking from side to side, sometimes crossing his legs, sometimes sitting slouched in the chair, almost sliding like melting butter.

Matheus's ears flicked back, and he heard muffled snickers from Luis and Paulo.

"They're talking bad about you," Bianca said, whispering, sitting next to Matheus.

"I know," Matheus said.

"Ryan sits upright in that desk," the teacher said, and the raccoon sat up straight.

Lucas, feeling bored, also wished the class would end soon. It was a dull, hot day.

It was very hot, the sky a clear blue with few clouds. Ryan, Lucas, and Matheus walked home along the tree-shaded sidewalks.

"Are you feeling better, Matheus?" Lucas asked.

"Yes," Matheus said.

"Were we going out today?" the raccoon asked.

"In this hot sun?" "Matheus said, looking at the clear sky and feeling hot and lazy. He wanted to go home, take a cold shower, and take a nap.

Lucas was starting to pant, and Ryan felt his body hot, to the point of wanting to take off his shirt.

"We could go to that lake we went to," said the raccoon.

"Maybe!" said Matheus, thinking about getting in the water and just relaxing.

"If we go there, it has to be today; tomorrow won't work," said Lucas.

"We have to stop by my house first. I want to eat something. I didn't eat anything yesterday," said Matheus.

"Yes," said Lucas, already panting.

Matheus drank three glasses of ice water and offered them to Lucas and Ryan. Matheus took off his shirt and shoes, placing the shirt on a mirror on one of the wooden chairs. He grabbed a frying pan and fried some steaks in cooking oil.

Ryan saw him with his back turned, frying the carré, his tail wagging. Matheus felt someone approaching from behind him.

"No way, Ryan," Matheus said, realizing the raccoon wanted to touch his tail.

"Please, please, she's so beautiful," the raccoon said.

"Ryan, get out of there before I smack you," Matheus said, and Ryan noticed he was half-serious, half-joking.

Matheus placed the plate of food on the couch and picked up a book. He had stopped on page 56, only three pages left to finish a chapter. He wanted to read them before leaving with Lucas and Ryan.

Ryan and Lucas were sitting on the other couch eating some farofa with pepperoni that Matheus had made for them.

Matheus opened the book when Ryan started whispering nicknames while looking at Matheus.

"Feline and apex predator look." "The raccoon whispered as he looked at Matheus.

Ryan saw Matheus, who was reading the book, look at him with a slightly serious look and then look back at the book he was reading

Ryan saw Matheus, who was reading the book, look at him with a slightly serious look and then look back at the book he was reading.

"Look at his face, he's trying not to smile, he wants to look serious," the raccoon whispered, and Matheus rolled his eyes and concentrated on his reading while his food grew cold.

"You, you, pa pa pa, You, you, you, you, pa, pa, pa," the raccoon said, singing.

Lucas saw Matheus stare at Ryan and then look back at his book.

"Matheus, you have such beautiful eyes," said the raccoon.

"Wow, but I think you're so ugly," Matheus said sarcastically, smiling.

Ryan scooped up some farofa with the spoon and put it in his mouth, chewing as he looked at Matheus, whose eyes were focused on reading the book.

Ryan took another bite of farofa into his mouth and almost choked. Matheus glanced at him briefly, trying to hold back his laughter but couldn't.

The three of them walked to the lake. Matheus had put on lighter clothes, and Lucas had stopped by the house and put on light shorts and a green shirt. Ryan was too lazy to go back home and change.

It was so hot that Ryan took off his shirt, starting to walk around shirtless and wearing jeans and shoes.

The street they were walking down was deserted; perhaps most people were home because of the heat.

Lucas and Matheus saw Ryan start to smile. The raccoon was very agitated that day. Lucas was walking and was starting to pant. Ryan imitated the sound of a dog panting and sticking out his tongue.

"I dare you," said the raccoon.

"No, not again," said Matheus, a little seriously.

"I dare you," said the raccoon, smiling.

"Ryan." "No," Lucas said.

The raccoon began walking backward, facing and back toward the two of them. He looked in all directions and saw that no one was looking.

"I dare you to do it," the raccoon said, pulling down his pants and revealing his underwear, clearly visible on his butt.

While he was grinning from one corner of his face to the other and sticking out his tongue,

"Ryan!" Lucas and Matheus said, half-laughing and half-scared at the same time.
