The decision was made, and the planning began immediately. It took the couple two exhilarating, exhausting months to prepare for their grand wedding day. The house became a beautiful chaos of fabric swatches, floral samples, and baby gear.
Their twins, Ethan and Eva, were now eight months old, active, giggling little dynamos who were running the show. Every vendor meeting, every cake tasting, and every flower consultation was conducted with one twin strapped to Y/N and the other in Taehyung's arms, or both crawling precariously close to some expensive decoration. Mr. and Mrs. Kim and Mr. and Mrs. Lee were constantly on twin-retrieval duty, chasing small, fast hands away from fragile wedding favours.
"Are you sure we should be doing this now?" Y/N had asked one frantic afternoon, trying to match a shade of ivory while Ethan was attempting to eat a sequin.
Taehyung, effortlessly catching Eva as she rolled off a velvet sofa, had just smiled. "This is our life, my love. Beautiful chaos. And I wouldn't trade it for a minute."
The wedding day dawned bright and clear, exactly two months after their conversation, and by perfect design it was their anniversary.
Y/N woke to the delicious, familiar scent of Taehyung's neck and the soft glow of the morning sun. Before she could open her eyes fully, she felt a soft, lingering kiss pressed to her forehead, then her eyelid, and finally, a deep, possessive claim on her lips.
"Happy anniversary, my beautiful wife," Taehyung murmured against her mouth, his arms already tight around her.
He kissed her again, a slow, gentle expression of all the love they had built. He rolled over, pulling her on top of him, and hugged her tightly, burying his face in her hair. "Today, we make it official for the world. Today, you take my hand under the grandest canopy."
Y/N giggled, hitting his chest playfully. "I’ve had your name for months, you shameless man! But yes. Today, forever."
In the late afternoon, the Kim estate was unrecognizable. The garden, the scene of the tense baby shower just months before, was now transformed into a breathtaking venue. A towering floral arch of white roses and lush greenery stood at the end of a long, sweeping aisle. The atmosphere was intimate, filled only with their dearest family and closest friends.
Y/N was magnificent. She wore a pristine white gown—the silhouette of which was modern and elegant, featuring delicate lace sleeves and a sweeping cathedral train.
Taehyung stood waiting at the altar, breathtaking in a sharp, custom-made ivory tuxedo that perfectly complemented her dress. The ceremony was a blend of solemn tradition and heartfelt vows.
The music began. The large doors of the estate opened, and Y/N began her walk down the aisle on the arm of her proud father, Mr. Lee. Every eye was on her, but her gaze was locked only on Taehyung. The sight of her, a mother, a wife, and now finally, a bride in white, brought tears to the eyes of both Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Lee.
Taehyung's eyes, usually sharp and guarded, were openly tender, glistening as she approached. He met her halfway, taking her hand from Mr. Lee, who gave Taehyung a sincere nod of approval.
The ceremony proceeded under the floral arch. They exchanged personal, tear-filled vows—promises of laughter, patience, and devotion forged not just in love, but in the trenches of parenthood and survival.
After the vows, and the exchange of brilliant rings, the officiant announced them husband and wife. The air filled with joyous applause. They kissed, a long, meaningful kiss that signified the end of their troubles and the beginning of their official future.
Mr. and Mrs. Kim and Mr. and Mrs. Lee were the first to rush forward with congratulations, showering them with confetti and hugs. Jimin, standing a little back, offered a genuine smile and a sincere toast from his glass.
Taehyung and Y/N walked back up the aisle together, hand-in-hand, laughing, ready to face the world as a fully celebrated family.
As the evening deepened, the mood shifted to pure celebration. After honoring their parents with the traditional ritual, the couple returned to the dance floor for their moment alone.
Taehyung took Y/N's hand, leading her to the center of the twinkling, moonlit dance floor. They moved slowly, their eyes locked, the world outside their circle dissolving into soft light and music. This was more than a dance; it was a conversation, a celebration of their survival, their family, and their devotion.
As the music faded to a gentle hum, Taehyung leaned in, his lips brushing the shell of her ear. His voice was deep, possessive, and full of the finality of their bond.
"You are stuck with me for the rest of our lives, Y/N."
Y/N tilted her head back, her eyes shining with love and contentment, the weight of the past finally lifted, replaced by the beautiful certainty of her future.
"Yes," she whispered, her voice husky with emotion, tightening her arms around his neck. "I'm stuck with you, Kim Taehyung. Forever."
And in that embrace, beneath the stars, with the gentle sounds of their sleeping children waiting upstairs, their beautiful story reached its perfect end.
To my dear readers,
We have finally reached the end of the story. I began writing this long ago on November 29, 2023, and after two intense years, we conclude today, December 15, 2025, with their peaceful wedding.
It was hard to keep going sometimes. Over two years, seeing very few comments or likes often made me sad. It felt like I was writing into silence. But my commitment to this story and to these characters was strong. I knew I had to finish what I started.
Thank you to those who were here. Thank you for every silent read and every small interaction. That small presence was enough to push me through to this beautiful conclusion. I am so proud we made it to this joyful end.
With love,
~Veilofak
