Schizophrenia. (Niall Centric/Zianourry)

This story was kind of hard for me to write. I don't have an experience about this, so Google was 100% my best friend one this piece. Sorry if its not the good.

Ever since Niall was little he would hear these voices in his head. He couldn't make them stop... He tried. But nothing would make them go away.

That's when his mom started getting concerned. She took him to the doctor, and the doctor had said he had Schizophrenia. There wasn't really anything they could do. They advised that Niall stay as calm as possible, and find something to help with that. Like singing, playing an instrument, drawing, or even playing sports.

Niall had always been a sporty kid. Up until the age of 16, right before he auditioned for the X-Factor, he dislocated his knee on the field. The voices in his head made an appearance. 

(Voices in Niall head: Bold and Italics)

"You're not good enough. You are a failure. At everything."

"STOP! GO AWAY!" He was screaming at the voices in his head. Everyone backed away very slowly, but Niall's mother just got closer. Trying to grab his attention and bring him back to reality. 

"Are any of you going to help him, or just stand there?" She spoke through gritted teeth. When she didn't get a response from anyone she motioned for Niall's brother Greg to come help her.

(Year: 2013. Place: Hotel Room)

Niall still hasn't told the boys about his mental illness. He didn't want to be considered a queer, and get kicked out of the band. He gets daily calls from his brother asking how he's feeling. 

Today, Niall had been feeling off, as he didn't get much sleep last night. He was laying on his bed scrolling through his twitter mentions, while the others were playing FIFA. 

Niall's "friend", Michael, hasn't been very active lately. Niall thinks he only comes around when Niall has read some hate. Michael likes to repeat all the bad stuff Niall reads. 

As he read through the tweets he started getting tears in his eyes. So he decided that he would get off twitter before Michael decided to make a reappearance.  

(Michael talking is in bold)

"Worthless."

"Fatty."

"Pathetic."

"Can't sing."

"STOP! SHUT UP!" Niall yelled grabbing the attention of the other boys.

"Niall? Are you okay?" Liam asked. Liam stood and walked over to the younger boy. He wrapped Niall in his arms as Niall slowly calmed down after yelling at Michael. "Niall. Who were you yelling at?"

"No one." He mumbles. You'll laugh at me."

"No we won't. We love you to much!" Harry said. 

"I have Schizophrenia." 

Niall had told them the entire story of how he's dealt with this all of his life, the voices in his head, being bullied. 

The other four lads were in tears by the time Niall had finished his story.

Eventually the lads had helped Niall tell the world. The fans were very, very, very supportive of Niall, and loved him even more then they already did. For the ones who thought Niall was a freak left the fandom. But, Niall and the lads didn't care. All they cared about was Niall being happy with who he is.
