"Where’s the transponder?" Randall asked, as he stared at the clouds floating by.

"It’s in here", Leo said, while he was busy navigating the chopper.

Randall got on beside him. He located the transponder, ejected it from the dashboard, and he threw it through the window.

"They must not know our coordinates. If they find us out, we’ll be in a firing strike", he said.

"What about the outpost at the entrance of the drawbridge? We can’t invade its airspace."

"Trust me. The only help that comes on its way is us. Take us to outpost. We should land in there and locate survivors. I know that they’re still in there."

Leo continued to obey his orders, as he kept his sharp eye on the atmosphere.

"So, what’s your true story?" he suddenly asked him.

"Richard is not really my father. He just treated me as his son for several years, because of his deep envy with his stepbrother. Robert Arkline is my real father, and he used to be one of the most dedicated scientists here in the country. Unfortunately, I hadn’t remembered anything about him, since Richard stole his responsibilities as a father, and also, he’s the one who cleared my memory out of my life with my true family", Randall narrated.

"Now that I remember everything, I need to get to Rushford to warn my friends about the impending doom. If I still able to see my brother Chris, we’ll start a new life together and forget all the things that have made us apart", he continued.

"Wait. Why do we still need to go there? After all, your mission has been accomplished already."

"Because Richard is a very smart man. I tell you that he won’t give up, once he tripped himself down. The only way to beat him is to outsmart him, the way that he outsmarts everyone. If he hungers for revenge, I hunger for liberty. Not just for you and me, but also, to the innocent people who are helpless and clueless."

"So, are you saying that Colonel's death is not yet the end of Halford Inc.?"

"Halford Inc. is forever. Revenge is always inevitable, but reversible."

"Who do you think can put an end to Halford Inc.?"

"You’re talking to him right now."

"You?"

"Yes. This is between Richard and me. No one must go to us in between."

"Alright Randall. Good luck. Do this for the sake of the people."

"I know that brains exult over brawns, but for me, it’s the opposite."

Leo nodded in affirmation. After several minutes. . .

"Hey! That must be the outpost, right there", Leo said, as he pointed down at a fortress.

"Yes, that’s it. Bring us down", Randall said.

As he descended the chopper down to the open field, the infected soldiers that were lurking around had been alarmed. All sorts of moans and growls were heard.

“Rrrrroooooaaaaarrrrr!!!!!”

"Get ready Leo. They’re here. Take care of this chopper, while I clean the field", Randall said, as he manned the Gatling gun.

"Got it!" he replied.

The infected began to run towards them, the same as Randall began to shoot them all. Everything was in chaos.

“Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang . . . !”

"Randall! Another wave approaches us from this side!"
