The Truth Comes Pouring Out

  Elijah was not afraid of his newly found niece. She was a Mikaelson. She needed to know who her family was so she could decide whether she wanted to be apart of it or not. He could see she had her father's persistence and temper. "Ok Nicole, Ask away." He said with a confident grin. Nicole walked over to him. "How did you get over to me so fast?" She asked crossing her arms. Elijah smirked. "I'm not human, Nicole." Nicole's eyes widened then she nodded. She was not afraid of him. "If you're not human then what are you?" She asked walking toward him. He walked over to his family. "Dear Nicole, we are the first vampires that ever walked the earth. We're The Originals." All three of them waited for her reaction. Nicole had that feeling again. She was going to faint. Her eyes rolled and she fell back but this time Jeremy ran over and caught her. She was out cold. "Now what?" Jeremy asked. "I think now would be a good time for all of us to tell Nicole who we are. We shall continue when she wakes up." Jeremy and placed her in a booth and sat next to her.

About 20 minutes went by and she woke up. "What happened?!" She asked shooting up. Jeremy was sitting with her. He grabbed her hands. "Hey, you fainted." He moved a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "You ok?" He asked. Nicole just kept nodding. "Jer, can you get me some water please?" She asked putting a hand to her throat. Jeremy nodded and left her. She stood up slowly. Everyone was talking amongst themselves. No one noticed she was awake so she broke their conversations. "So you're vampires?!" They all stopped talking and turned back to her. "Yes, we are." Rebekah said. Nicole nodded and walked to Elijah. "Are there any other supernatural beings in this room?" Nicole asked looking around. Stefan stood up, walked over to Nicole. He could hear her heart beating a mile a minute. She was afraid of him. "Nicole, I'm a vampire." Nicole took a step away from Stefan. "I was killed in 1864 by my father Giuseppe Salvatore." Nicole's eyes softened. "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner. Tyler asked all of us to keep you out of it." Nicole nodded "It's okay. I understand." Nicole hugged Stefan. "I promise, no more secrets and I will never bring harm to you." Stefan said making Nicole smile. Jeremy walked up to her with her glass of water. "My turn." Nicole started drinking her water. "Nic, I'm a vampire hunter." She spat her water out. Everyone chuckled. She looked at Jeremy with her mouth open. "Hold on, I only hunt vampires who feed off humans and have no control over the blood lust." Nicole started to understand. "Nic, I promise to protect you to the best of my abilities always. You're my best friend and no matter who your family is, I love you." Nicole wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. "Thank you Jer. I love you too." Jeremy smiled and kissed her cheek. Caroline walked up to Nicole and grabbed her hand. "I'm a vampire as well Nicole. Elena's doppelganger killed me to get revenge on Damon & Stefan." Nicole's hand shot to her mouth. "I'm so sorry Caroline." She hugged her best friend. "Wait, Elena has a doppelganger?" She asked confused. Caroline nodded. "Oh God. Big curls, slutty clothes?" Nicole asked looking between Caroline and Elena. "That's Katherine all right." Caroline said with disdain. She nodded. "She used to come in here all the time and say she was Elena." She said. "Yeah she always does that." Stefan interjected.

Bonnie walked over and hugged Nicole. "First, I want to apologize to you for being cold to you. I always got bad vibes from you but now I understand why." She said. Nicole was confused. "What do you mean?" Nicole asked. "I'm a witch. But now that I know you're Klaus' daughter. I now understand why when I touched you I saw a full moon, dark magic, blood, and a white oak tree. You're a witch and a wolf." Bonnie said with confidence. Nicole had no idea. She never thought of herself as a supernatural being. "Wait how am I a wolf?" Nicole asked very confused. "I can answer that." Klaus said standing up. "I'm a hybrid." He said with a smirk. Nicole's mouth dropped. "A hybrid?" She asked. Klaus nodded. "You're a vampire and a werewolf?" She asked. "So is Tyler." He said nodding in Tyler's direction. Tyler stood up and walked over to his sister. "Nic, I was a werewolf. All Lockwood men are born with the werewolf gene." Nicole was in shock. "Wait, so you're telling me that werewolves are real too?!" Tyler nodded. Nicole rubbed her head. "But you don't turn into one unless you kill someone." Nicole had fear in her eyes. "I unfortunately triggered mine by accidentally killing Sarah at the masquerade ball." Nicole gasped. "I thought she fell!" She said as she took a step back from her brother. "She did after I threw her off me. She was trying to kill me. Caroline saw the whole thing." Caroline stepped over to them. "He's telling the truth Nicole." Nicole just stared at the two of them and nodded. "I believe you." She said with a smile. "Ty... I wish you had told me sooner. I'm your sister." He nodded. "I was trying to protect you." Tyler said guiltily.

Damon sauntered over and put an arm around Nicole's shoulder. "Okay enough with the mushy gushy stuff. I'm a vampire too. Our Dad killed us both." Nicole frowned. She felt terrible about all these secrets. "Wait, you mean a 150 year old man used to hit on me?! Ew Damon!" Everyone laughed at that. Damon messed up her hair and hugged her. Elena and Alaric walked over to them. "I was a hunter also. Still am but not unless the situation calls for it." Alaric said with a small smile. "History teacher by day, Van Helsing by night; nice Ric!" Nicole said high fiving him. Elena interjected. "I'm a vampire too Nicole. You're Aunt Rebekah drove me off Wickery Bridge while I had vampire blood in my system. That's how you turn." Elena pointed at Rebekah. Nicole's head snapped in Rebekah's direction with a cold glare "Wait?! Why?!" Rebekah jumped up to defend herself. "I had to! Your history teacher over there was trying to kill us all!" Nicole just stared at everyone. "Alaric? What does she mean?"

After about an hour of everyone telling Nicole every last detail about Katherine's return, the curse, the daggers, the Originals, Bonnie dying, Jeremy dying, the cure, Silas, and Elena feeding Katherine the cure; Nicole was completely up to speed with everything. Everyone left but Klaus & Nicole.
