Nicole & Tyler's Reunion

Tyler returns to the shack after Dwayne's transformation. He gives Hayley a grim look, and she looks shocked. "It worked, didn't it? He's a hybrid." Tyler crouched down to talk to her. "If Klaus gets a hold of you, if he gets that kid? He wins." Hayley realizes Tyler's right. "Then help me hide the baby from him!" Tyler walks over and picks the knife up off the floor. "Help me run!" Tyler scoffed. "He'll find you, he'll take your kid away, and he'll make more hybrid monsters. Slaves who do everything he says." Hayley is terrified of Tyler and the fact that he may be right. "Tyler, whatever you're thinking of doing, there has to be another way. You're not like this!" When Tyler shakes his head and continues to walk toward her, she stabs him in the gut with the broken chair leg. Tyler screams in pain and pulls the stake out. "That was stupid!" He starts to walk toward Hayley again when Dwayne rushes in. "Get away from her!" Tyler is confused. "What do you care?" Dwayne shoves him. "I said get away!" Tyler is getting annoyed. "You got what you wanted, now get lost!"
Hayley desperately pleads for help. "Dwayne, he's gonna kill me! And he's gonna kill you, too! He said that hybrids are too dangerous to live! You need to stop him!" Tyler yelled at Hayley. "SHUT UP!" Dwayne comes behind Tyler and tosses him across the room. He lands on the floor, and when he gets up, Dwayne runs to tackle him. Hayley sees that Tyler dropped the knife within reach, and uses it to cut herself free. Tyler eventually overpowers Dwayne and rips his heart out. When he turns back toward Hayley, he sees that she's escaped and becomes furious. Hayley runs as fast as she can through the woods, Tyler's knife still in her hand, and stops to hide behind a tree. As she catches her breath, she hears someone approaching. She braces herself, readies her knife, and turns to attack, but it's just Elijah. He holds her hand steady to protect himself. Elijah smiles. "Forgive me! I thought you were in danger. It appears I was mistaken." Hayley sighs in relief and dives into Elijah's arms. The two hug for a long moment before Hayley eventually pulls away. "You will not believe the crap day I'm having. Elijah smiles. "I'll take you home." He turns to leave, but Hayley stops him. "Elijah, there's something you need to know about the baby."
Meanwhile, Tyler angrily continues to look for Hayley in various tents. He hears a twig snap and looks behind him. When he turns around Nicole is in front of him with her glock in hand. "Hello brother; I missed you." He is speechless and frightened. "Nic, nice to see your following your father's violence." Nicole smirked. "Oh stop it Tyler. I only have this gun for protection." Tyler tilted his head. "You think you need to protect yourself from me? I'm your brother." Nicole hardened her gaze on him. "No. You're not. My brother wouldn't kidnap an innocent woman from her home in the middle of the night. Now I'm only going to ask you this once; Where is Hayley?" He just stood there and stared at her. "You're different. Stronger. You're whole personality. You're becoming like them. Tell me; did you trigger your curse yet?" Nicole cocked the gun. "Where is Hayley?!" Tyler laughed. "I'll take that as a yes. No wonder you're different." Nicole fired a shot over his shoulder. "WHERE IS SHE?!" Tyler put his hands up in a surrendering motion. "I don't know! She ran off!" Nicole didn't know whether or not to believe him. "How do I know you're not lying to me?" Tyler shrugged. "I have no reason to lie to you Nic. You have the gun." Nicole put the gun in her holster. "Go find her. Bring her to me or I'll kill you myself..." Tyler's eyes reveal hurt and betrayal after hearing her say that. She takes a step towards him. "We'll continue this later." Tyler nods and walks off. Nicole dials Elijah but gets his voice mail. "Uncle Elijah it's me. I found Tyler but Hayley's not with him. Call me back."
Tyler keeps looking for Hayley. "HAYLEY! Don't make this harder than it has to be! Give up now... I'll end it quick." Klaus appears behind him. "Quite an offer! Though, not one I'll be extending to you." Tyler braces himself for a fight. "Klaus." Klaus smirks. "Hello, Tyler. You look well! I aim to change that. Threatening a pregnant girl in order to exact revenge against me? I never expected you to sink so low!" He walks toward Tyler. "I admit, I'm impressed!" Tyler ducks away from Klaus and puts more distance between them. "Used to hang out with you. I guess something must have rubbed off." Klaus smirks. "What would Caroline say if she saw what you've become? Perhaps I'll ask her when I call her to tell her of your demise." Tyler smiles. "Whatever happens to me, Caroline's never going to stop hating you! And you know Nicole will never forgive you." Klaus' face goes cold, and he runs toward him and grabs him by the throat. "How dare you speak of my daughter that way. My daughter loves me; you want to know why? Because I accept her for who she is. I accept her for what she is and who she considers 'family'. Even if she means you!" He then tosses Tyler into a tree. Klaus continues to bellow at Tyler. "Come on, mate! Give it a bit more effort! I want to enjoy myself." Tyler glares at Klaus and braces himself to fight, but at the last minute, he vamp-runs away. Klaus smiles, and waits for a moment before chasing after him. Nicole hears the fight and catches her father's scent.
Meanwhile, in the werewolf encampments, Klaus wanders around and checks random tents as he searches for Tyler. "Is this your idea of revenge, Tyler? A grueling game of hide-and-seek?" Tyler runs up behind Klaus and stabs him through the chest with a stake. Klaus yells in pain and backhands Tyler away, before he pulls the stake out of his chest and readies himself to fight back. Nicole runs up behind Tyler, gun in hand and fires a shot into the air. "Enough!" Klaus ignores Nicole and continues to glare at Tyler. "Let's end this, shall we?" The two continue to glare at each other. Before they lunge forward to fight, their hybrid eyes and fangs emerge. Tyler tackles Klaus, and they both roll down a small hill and land in front of Dwayne's shack. Tyler punches Klaus in the face, so Klaus grabs him in a choke-hold again. "Dad stop!" Nicole runs and tries to pull Klaus off of Tyler. "How dare you?!" Tyler chuckles. "I'm just getting started." Tyler stakes him in the side, and Klaus groans in pain. "Dad!" Nicole punches Tyler in the face and drop kicks him. "Bad move Ty. You have no idea who you're messing with." Klaus smirks. "You've grown bloodthirsty. Perhaps it's best Nicole here didn't live with you anymore so she didn't have to see you like this." Klaus laughs devilishly at him. Tyler gets more enraged and begins to pummel Klaus in the face. "Tyler STOP!" Nicole yells. Klaus grabs his fist, flips him over so Klaus is on top of him, and stakes Tyler in the chest with the stake that was stuck in his side. Tyler moans in pain, and they both get back on their feet. "Dad no! Please?!" Nicole tries again to pull Klaus off of Tyler. Klaus sees the hurt and worry on Nicole's face. "It's sad, really. I thought I made you better. Turns out you're quite the disappointment." Tyler pulls the stake out of his chest, pushes Klaus off of him and holds Nicole to his chest with the stake raised above her heart. Klaus is frozen in fear. "Tyler what are you doing?" Nicole asked. "Shut up Nic!" Nicole has tears in her eyes. "Please Tyler, it's me." He grew angry. "Nicole, shut the fuck up!" Nicole let the tears fall in fear that her brother was about to end her. "I guess I'm another one of your failures. Like how you failed at making hybrids. How you failed your family!" He approaches Klaus with Nicole still against him and smiles. "Now it looks like you're going to fail your precious daughter!"
Tyler is about to plunge the stake into Nicole but Klaus vamp speeds and pulls Nicole from his grasp and takes Tyler by the throat and pushes him against a tree. "And thus ends your tedious little life. At least it was brief!" He jams his hand into Tyler's chest and grabs his heart as Tyler shouts in agony. "No! Daddy please! I'm begging you!" Nicole was hysterical. Tyler looked at her and smiled best he could which made Nicole fall to her knees and cry more. Tyler continues to gasp for breath. "Do it! You're never gonna break me! Only thing you can do is kill me, so go on! Go on, get it over with!" Klaus pauses and chuckles. "Ahhh, you want me to end your suffering, don't you?" Nicole looks up to see by Tyler's expression that Klaus just hit the nail on the head. "Hmm? I did break you! I took everything from you, and now you're begging me to sweep away the shards of your shattered little life." He stares at him for a moment, looks to Nicole and turns back to Tyler. Just when Tyler thinks Klaus is about to kill him, he pulls his empty hand out of his chest and chokes Tyler momentarily. "Death offers more peace than you deserve. It's better to let you live. And each morning, you will wake knowing your wretched existence continues only by my will." He starts to compel him. "Now go, and live the rest of your days knowing that you are nothing to me or Nicole." Klaus lets him go, picks up Nicole who is still hysterical crying; carries her and leaves Tyler alone in agony.
