        Nicole drove as fast as she could to the boarding house. It was only 6pm so she was sure the boys would be home. As she pulled into the driveway she saw Stefan fixing his car in the garage. She turned her car off and just watched him for a minute or two. He was a prince in her eyes. He was Prince Charming from the fairytales but a vampire too. As if he knew she was watching he whipped around and smiled when he saw her. She waved and got out of the car. "Hey what are you doing here?" He hugged her but could see something was up. "I need to talk to you and Damon... about my father." Stefan nodded "Elena's here too." Nicole just rolled her eyes and walked into the house. "Damon!" Stefan yelled out. Not 5 seconds later Damon and Elena were on the stairs."Hey Nicole." Elena said sounding annoyed. Nicole ignored her. "So Nic Jr. what are you doing here?" He asked. Nicole chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Clever but in all seriousness I need you and Stefan to tell me about Klaus and what he's done to you all. Tyler said he's ruined a lot of lives. I would like to know some details about the family I just became a part of." Damon shrugged in approval. Elena nodded. "Ok but just remember, you asked us for this." Nicole gulped and nodded. "I know."

Stefan and Damon told her everything that happened since Klaus came to town while Elena had made everyone coffee. What the Mikaelson's had done; but they also explained their past. How Klaus was physically and verbally abused his whole life by his "father" Mikael who wasn't actually his father. How they became The Original vampires. Nicole began to understand why Klaus was the way he was. She cried a few times thinking of her father being beaten by his father and betrayed by his mother and turning him into a monster then trying to kill him and the rest of the family. They explained about how Kol and Finn died because of them. Lastly they explained how she had the werewolf gene but was also part witch because of Esther being The Original Witch. She didn't know what to do. This family; this cursed, broken family. Was this going to be her life if she stayed with them? Was Klaus willing to accept her into this family. Then she realized she'd rather play 2nd fiddle than not be in the band at all. Always & Forever this was her family. They were her blood.
