Nicole was downstairs getting one of her bodyguards to drive Jeremy home when Klaus walked in. "what's going on in here?" He asked approaching Nicole. "I'm sending Jeremy home. It's not safe for him here with Davina loosing control of her magic." She wouldn't look at him. If he saw her face he would know she was lying. "Why do I have a feeling that's not the only reason you're making him leave." Klaus said suspiciously. Making him leave. Those words hit her like a ton of bricks. "I'm not making him do anything! That's why I'm sending him home! So he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to!" Nicole finally snapped. Klaus was caught off guard by her temper. "You're sending him away because of the mate bond, aren't you?" He asked turning her to him.

Nicole had tears in her eyes. "I'm sending him away so he can live his life without me and have a normal future." She spat through her tears. "Love, you nor Jeremy are normal. He was one of the five; you are a witch/werewolf hybrid. Nothing in your lives will ever be normal. This bond is a blessing or a curse depending on how you look at it." Klaus said trying to comfort her. Nicole just shook her head. "He's so upset with me. Like its my fault. He told me he could never tell any of his girlfriends he loved them bc something inside wouldn't let him. Hearing that made me realize maybe that was why I couldn't let myself be with Stefan. Who the hell knows?!" Nicole was so frustrated that her tears were no longer tears of sadness but tears of anger. "If I didn't have anger towards Esther before; I sure as hell do now!" Nicole exclaimed angrily.

Klaus snickered at that comment. "yes well you are a Mikaelson so that just comes naturally." He said smirking. Nicole rolled her eyes but she couldn't help but laugh. She sat down on a chair at the table. Klaus kneeled in front of her. "Nicole, do you love him?" Klaus was curious. Nicole closed her eyes and nodded. "So why are you sending him away? You both love each other. Bond or not. You should be allowed to be together." Klaus said gently grabbing Nicole's chin to make her face him. "He shouldn't feel like he's forced to love me. He has the right to love anyone he wants and im not gonna make him regret his life by being with me against his will. I love him that much I'm letting him go." Nicole said through her tears. "you have luckily found the person who is to love you for everything you are and who you are. Only a few people on this dreadful planet get to experience that." Klaus said as he dried Nicole's tears. "I just don't want to make him more unhappy than he already is. I really feel like this is the only way he can make his decision. That way he'll have time to think and decide what he wants." Nicole was beginning to compose herself. Klaus couldn't understand what decision she was speaking about because this was a ride or die spell. You either grow old with your mate or you die alone. "Well if that's what you want..." Klaus realized there was nothing more he could do. Her mind was made up.
