FRENCH QUARTER
The Casket Girls Festival is in full swing, with marching bands and people in costumes dancing around the streets. Davina is wearing a masquerade mask and an antique wedding dress to disguise herself as she walks hurriedly down the main street with Cami and in tow. Nicole sees them in the crowd and runs over to them. "I'm trying to find him or Marcel. Stay out of sight okay?" Nicole asked. "There's people everywhere." Davina stated looking around her. "Just keep walking, no one knows it's you." Cami said pushing her. "Cami please be careful." Cami nodded to Nicole. Nicole smiled and is about to take off. She pauses as she sees Klaus in the crowd. "Cami..." Nicole says as Davina stops and points into the crowd, alerting Cami to the fact that Klaus is searching for her nearby. "We have to get off this street." Cami says. "Go, I got this." Nicole says. Cami and Davina rush off down a side street. Meanwhile, Marcel and Elijah are in the middle of the street talking quietly to another.
Marcel is talking to Elijah. "Kieran is gonna call me first if he hears anything." Klaus approaches them. "Ah, you two look rather cozy." Klaus says. Marcel scoffs. "Hardly. I was just telling Elijah how we're wasting time." Nicole walks up to them. "You don't like festivals?" Klaus sighs in relief and wraps Nicole into a hug. "Hi Dad." Nicole says. "Thank God you're okay." He examines her to make sure she's not injured. "I'm tough girl Dad." He smirks at Nicole's sass. "Marcel, Uncle Elijah; Having fun?" Rebekah appears and joins them. "I don't see why not. Who doesn't love a street fair?" Nicole rolls her eyes. She's still angry with Rebekah. "Sister, come to help us find our stray?" Klaus asks. Rebekah smiles serenely. "We can't let your secret weapon get in the wrong hands, can we?" Nicole scoffs at her. "Fake bitch." She mutters under her breath. She sees her father and Marcel smirk. Rebekah glared at her. "For the record, we're moments away from retrieving her." Klaus said getting back to business. "I recognize that tone of voice, Niklaus. Clearly you have some diabolical machination. What is it?" Klaus smirks before he leaves, following an at first unidentified person walking toward a car parked nearby. It's Timothy, Davina's friend and crush. "Dad no way!" Nicole grabs him and tried to stop him but he's too strong. "Timothy..." He puts a hand on his shoulder and compels him. "Might I have a word?" Klaus smirks.
CAMI'S APARTMENT
Josh is still at Cami's, pacing around her living room. The sun has just gone down, and he's leaving her another voicemail. "Cami! It's me. Again. Stalking you. Look, just really need to know where you guys are so I can meet you before the sun comes up. Again." His phone beeps and he looks at his phone to see who is calling him. It's an unknown number. Josh answers nervously. "Uh, hello?" It's Klaus calling from the French Quarter with Timothy and Nicole. "Joshua, my most disappointing minion. I suspected you wouldn't answer the call were it from me." Klaus smirks. "Klaus. Hey. What up? Guess what, I just moved to Turkey. Weirdly, they don't eat turkey here. Go figure." Klaus frowns at Josh's lie. "You're lying. In fact, Marcel and I were just chatting about your failed double agent status, and we've surmised that you're likely still in town and in the company of a friend– a young, angry witch." Josh looks around him. "Nope. Nope. No witches here. Totally digging Turkey, though." Klaus grows angry. "Are you really going to leave Davina's fiddler soulmate, Timothy, alone with me? Oh, Josh. What would she think of that? I assure you, I just wanna talk to her. Tim and I will be at the compound. I really do hope she comes home soon." Klaus hangs up leaving Josh dumbfounded and panicked.
ST. ANNE'S CHURCH
Davina and Cami have ducked inside the church to hide out from Klaus and his search party. "We should keep moving. How long do we have to wait?" Davina asks Cami. "Give it a few minutes, then I'll check to see if the coast is clear." Cami's phone vibrates. She picks it up when she sees it's Josh. "Josh, sorry I missed your calls." She pauses to listen to what he has to say. "What?" Cami looks at Davina with a worried expression. "Look, I didn't want to tell you, but I know Klaus. If Davina doesn't show up, he'll kill Tim." Josh says. "We'll think of something. Make your way to the Quarter. Stay hidden. We'll text you when we have a plan." Cami hangs up on Josh. "I have to go." Davina says frantically. "Davina, wait." Cami says grabbing her wrist. "I can't let Tim die." Davina pauses; suddenly in a trance. Davina senses another flash of magic. "What's wrong?" Cami asks worried. "The witches." Suddenly, the front doors of the church burst open as three witches dressed all in black and led by Sabine storm into the church. They chant the incantation to a spell as they march toward Davina. Their spell is so powerful it telekinetically throws Cami backward, knocking her out. "Gadyen nan balans. Gadyen nan la foi. Se pou nou fe sa yo dwe fe." The witches keep chanting. Davina is furious. "NO!" Davina throws her arms out in front of her, and the church's foundation begins to shake. Davina levitates the witches high into the air, and Sabine looks at Davina in fear before Davina violently flicks both of her wrists, snapping the necks of all three of the witches. As soon as Davina drops them to the ground, she rushes over to Cami, who is lying unconscious behind her. "Cami?" Cami remains motionless. Davina, fed up and furious, stomps out of the church.
