Marcel is sitting in a bar, drinking. Klaus enters. "Well, this is a far cry from last night's party." Klaus sees Cami sitting in the bar, writing. "Ah, in pursuit of the bartender from Rousseau's, I see." Marcel smirked. "She's a work in progress." Klaus smirks back. "And yet here you are, pining over her when you should be eating her for lunch. Oh, she must be special." Marcel finishes his drink. "Business first. The coroner called. He's got my number in case any dead tourists show up." Klaus sighs. "Let me guess – dead tourists with a stamp on the hand and vampire blood in their veins?" Marcel smirks. "It happens. Someone takes a drunken tumble off a balcony, or into the Mississippi... And today I got two of them to deal with." Klaus rises when he hears that Cami is gathering her things and leaving.

Nicole walks in and smirks at her father. She steps in front of him. Klaus rolled his eyes. "Not now." Nicole moved where he moved. "We need to talk Niklaus." He frowned. "Later love. I'm busy." He pushed past her and walked over to Cami. Nicole watched her father's every move. "Excuse me, love. What's that you're studying?" He leaned over her table. "Abnormal psychology." Cami smiled slightly. "Abnormal psychology, well. Perhaps you could help me diagnose my friend over here. He's been a little bit depressed, can't keep his mind off a girl. He tells me she's a queen, fit for a king. I think he should cut his losses and move on. What's your professional opinion?" Nicole was watching Cami. She saw the emotions in Cami's face differ from when she looked at Klaus then to Marcel. Cami looked at Marcel. "Be a nice guy, and maybe the opportunity will present itself some day." She turned and started walking out of the bar. "How about tonight, nine o'clock? I'll meet you right here?"

Marcel looked like a boy who just asked his crush to prom. Nicole smiled at his charming invitation. Cami smirked. "I'll take it under consideration." She walked out the door. Marcel looked disappointed but quickly brushed it off. "Mm, harsh." Klaus chuckled. "I daresay I've lost my touch. Or you've lost yours." Nicole saw that bond that Rebekah was talking about. She was jealous of this monster who was closer with her father than she was. Klaus and Marcel smile at each other, sipping their drinks.

Nicole realizes her father isn't gonna bother with her so she storms out. Marcel watches her. "So what's up with Elijah's ward? Where'd he find her?" Klaus watches Nicole out the window as she looks in all the different shops and stands. "Her mother abandoned her. She was living with a family in Mystic Falls. Her adoptive brother was a werewolf and he wasn't treating her right, so the noble Elijah took her and told her he'd keep her safe and give her the life she deserved." Marcel nodded. "Sounds familiar." Klaus nodded and smiled. He suddenly didn't see Nicole anymore but couldn't show he was worried. "Is she looking for Elijah?" Marcel asked. Klaus nodded. "Probably. They're close." Marcel nodded. "Like father/daughter close or relationship close." Klaus understood Marcel's curiosity but he got repulsed by the question. "Father/daughter of course." Marcel nodded and dropped the subject at hand.

As Nicole was walking she spotted Hayley walking to a certain shop. Nicole hid in the alley next to it so she could hear what Hayley was up to. Hayley walks up to a shop front right when the shopkeeper who is obviously a witch appears to be leaving. "Hey, hey!" The witch turns to Hayley. "We're closed, sorry." She begins to leave but Hayley stops her. "I just need one teeny, tiny little herb. Please?" She smiles. "Which herb?" Hayley looks around. "Crushed aconite flower." The shopkeeper is confused. "Wolfsbane? That's a poison. You're gonna kill a wolf?" Hayley frowns. "Just a little one." Nicole was in shock. Hayley was planning to kill the baby. The witch realizes who she is. "Give me a minute." Katie goes back into the shop. After a few seconds she comes back, holding a phial in her hand. "Cut it with jimson weed. A few drops in some hot tea – that should do it." Hayley hands her some money. "Here." Katie refuses it. "It's an ugly town for wolves. You're doing the right thing." Hayley walks away. Nicole saw Hayley leave. Katie picks up her phone and calls someone. Nicole is still listening. "Hey, wanna gain points? Tell Marcel there's a werewolf in the Quarter." Nicole steps out of the alley and purposefully knocks into Katie; knocking her phone to the ground and shattering. "Oh sorry!" She kept walking and following Hayley.
