Anastasia's POV

"Hello, Mr. Grey." I said as Christian answered my call. "Hi, Mrs. Grey. Say hi to Mommy, Teddy." He said. Teddy giggled. "Hello, Teddybear." I whispered. I was rewarded by another giggle. "Are you still at the office?" I asked. "Yes, I am. I'm drowned in papers and diapers." He said. I can sense his smirk.

"Tell Taylor Kate and I are done." I said. "Really? What time is it?" He asked. "10 minutes to 6." I said, looking at my clock. "Oh. Really. Wow. I'll just finish reading this contract then I'll go fetch you myself. I'll let Taylor fetch Kate now. Is it okay?" He said. "Yeah, I guess. I'll just go to Barnes and Noble." I said.

"Okay. I'll see you, Ana." He said. "Okay." I said. "Hang up." I whispered, smiling. "You hang up." I rolled my eyes. "I know you are rolling your eyes, Anastasia." He said, his voice seductive. "Sorry, sir." I purred. "I'll see you soon, Ana." He said as he ended the call.

"Kate, Taylor will fetch you. Christian will fetch me. He insisted." I said. "Oh. Okay. I'll see you soon, Ana. I'll call you soon, I need help on telling my parents." She said. "Yeah, of course. What are friends for?" I said. "See you soon, sister-in-law." She said, genuinely smiling. "See you." I said as I kissed her cheek and walked away.

I went inside the nearest bathroom and changed into the La Perla lingerie I bought. It's a black lace bra and thongs with thigh-high stockings. Christian will fucking drool. I took one last look at myself and took a breath. "Ana, you can do this. Do not be shy. Let him beg." I said to my reflection and I walked away.

I went inside Barnes and went to the new adult section. All the books were about first loves, first times and first heartbreaks, and I couldn't help but smile. I'm such a new adult. I giggled. I picked up a Colleen Hoover book about a guy who joins slam poetry and sat in a corner.

"I got schooled this year

by

a

boy.

A boy that I'm seriously, deeply, madly, incredibly, and undeniably in love with.

And he taught me the most important thing of all...

To put the emphasis

On life ."

Wow. How relevant. It feels like Christian and I have been together for like forever when in reality, it's only been like what, a year. But I totally agree. Christian gave color to my monochromatic life. He made me defy my limits, we're not only talking about sexual limits, but defying the amount of love I can give. He gave me love, showed me the world, and placed the world on my feet without hesitations. He gave me life, and I helped him recover the life he lost from pimps and whores and dommes.

I was interrupted by a guy falling face first on the floor. A giggle bubbled up in my lips before I can stop it. "Are you okay?" I asked, my giggling still not stopping. He sat up and wiped his pants. "Yeah. I am." He said. Oh my god. It's the guy I bumped into in this same bookstore a few days ago.

"Oh. It's you again. Ana, right?" He said as he stood up. How the fuck did he know my name. This is so creepy. Another stalker in my life. How creepy. "Why do you keep on following me?" I asked. "I don't know. There is a powerful pull that brings me always to you." He said. I stood up and started walking away. "I'm sorry! I just want to be friends!" He uttered, pleading. "Nope. Not gonna happen." I said, walking faster and in turn, bumped into someone.
