Teddy stopped crying, and is now sleeping soundly. "He surely is mercurial." Christian says.

"I wonder where he got that gene." I say playfully. Christian puts Teddy in his crib. He sits at a chair and asks me to sit beside him.

"Ana, I want you and Teddy to go back with me at Seattle." He says.

"Christian..." I utter. "I'll have Charlie Tango ready in two hours." He said. "Christian, you are going too fast." I say, stopping him.

"But I want Teddy to be known by my family, and I want him to be safe and secured." He explains. "But you know my mom and Ray are gonna kill you if you go near us, right?" I say.

"Yes, and I plan talking to them right now." He says. "What?!" I exclaimed. "You are unbelievable."

He smirked. "Ass." I said. He got his phone out of his pocket and dialed. "Taylor. Do you remember Mr. Steele's house? We will go there right now." He said. Rude.

Someone knocked on the door. "Sir." Taylor said as he opened the door. "Let's go." Christian said. I wasn't able to appreciate Taylor but now I do, so I stood up and hugged him. Taylor was shocked, and chuckled as he saw Christian's reaction.

"Miss Ste- Mrs. Grey." He awkwardly said. "Sorry." I said as I giggled. "Let's go." Christian said as he looked at me. "Sorry." Ana said. "Jealous mercurial freak."

"I heard that." Christian said. He walked out of the door and she heard the roaring of the R8. I went back to Teddy's crib, where he lies, eyes open and shining. "Oh baby, what am I gonna do with your father?" I said.

Christian's POV
I was fidgeting at my cuffs. Wow. I am anxious about meeting Ray. Him being ex-military is the least of my worries, to be fucking honest.

His words are playing back in my head. "Look after my girl, Christian." Ray said. I am fucked. Seriously fucked.

"Sir." Taylor said as he pulled up. I released a breath. "Good luck, sir." Taylor said. I smiled. "Okay." I said as I closed the door.

I thought I was going to be welcomed by the sound of a gun but all I can hear are the sound of saws and wood being polished. I need to be nice and polite or else my balls would be in that fucking machine.

"Christian." Ray said as he looked at me from head to toe. "You look horrible." Ray said. "Come in." He said as he led me to his workroom.

"You smell like Teddy." He said as he handed me a glass of whiskey. "Yes. I've been there before I went here." I said.

If Ray knows me well, he would know I am nervous. So nervous. "Stop being a hissy. I know you are afraid of me, Christian. You should be. You hurt my Annie." He said.

"I know, Ray. And I've suffered too. And I'm here to ask for your forgiveness and approval." I said, going straight to the point. "Approval, huh?" He uttered.

"You know that Annie loves you, right?" Ray said. "I don't know. I'm not sure." I said. "Stop being so humble, I know you know." He said.

"Okay, I know." I uttered.

"Then you know I have your forgiveness. If Ana can forgive you, why wouldn't I?" Ray said. "Uhh... That's the thing. She wouldn't forgive me." I said. He laughed.

"Look at you. You are lovesick." He said. This man's making fun of me. Good thing he is Ana's stepfather or else I would have fired him and kicked his balls.

"And you hurt her, Christian. You hurt her pretty bad. She was pregnant and his husband was out there kissing women." Ray said.

"I didn't. I hadn't been with anyone." I said. "Too much information, Grey." Ray said. I smirked.

"The bottomline is that Ana fucking loves you. She married you after 3 months, for God's sake. And she will love you unconditionally. That's what she got from me and Carla, she's a romantic. She still loves you even though you kissed that cougar and fucked up. And it's up to you to give justice to that. I forgive you, Christian, and I approve you and Ana, even though you hurt her bad, but if you hurt her again, I'm going to have your balls in that fucking saw." Ray said.

I laughed. "I know." I said. "So Christian, man up. Ask her. She will go with you, but do not pressure her, okay?" Ray said. "Thank you." I said as I stood up.

"It was nice talking to you, Christian." Ray said. Yeah, because you made fun of me.

"Same goes. Thanks for the drink." I said. "Good morning." Ray said as I climbed at my car. One obstacle done.
