Chapter 33

A/N: I AM BACK!!! So, my summer grades came out good, I handled all my personal problems and I am back on my feet. I've decided that I will post a chapter once a month, no matter how long or short it is. Enough of my talk, enjoy! xx

Anastasia's POV
It has been a few days since the incident, and everything is clear and calm now. Christian managed to shut off the issue quickly, calling one very reliable magazine, meaning he ran a background check across all departments and employees, and giving them a short, curt interview about us. Welch and I were at the same room, and there were a few recorders scattered around the office.

I can still remember quite clearly how Christian dreaded doing it. But it helped. As soon as the story was printed and placed on magazine stands, it was sold out in West Coast for less than half an hour. Sometimes, being Christian Grey is beneficial. The magazine thanked him so much.

There was a knock at the door. "Mrs. Grey. Miss Kavanagh and Miss Grey is here." Sawyer announced. "I will be right out." I answered back. I closed my laptop and closed the door to my office. I was welcomed by a tight hug from Mia.

"Ana! It's been so long! Motherhood suits you so well." Mia says, looking at me from head to toe. "Thanks." I say shyly. "So, what are you two doing here?" I ask. "I want to get Elliot a surprise. It will be sort of an engagement gift to him." Kate answers. "Oh, okay. Wait right here." I say, telling them to sit at the couch first.

I go to Andrea's desk right outside our office. "Andrea, is Christian back?" I ask. "No, Mrs. Grey. He's still at a meeting. I can take a message." She says, grabbing a notepad and a pen. "Please tell him I went out with Kate and Mia. I would be bringing Sawyer with me." I say. She writes it exactly the way I said it. "Thank you, Andrea." I say. She smiles and I come back inside the room.

"Sawyer." I call out. He goes out of my office and locks it. "Mrs. Grey, here's your things. I heard you are going out with Miss Grey and Miss Kavanagh." He said. "I am. Thanks." I say, reaching for my clutch.

Mia, Kate and I walk out, Sawyer right behind us and he pushes the key to the elevator. The elevator opens and we get in. I decided to write a short email for Christian.

Subject: Engagement Gift Shopping
To: Christian Grey

I am going out with Kate and Mia to go engagement gift shopping for Elliot. Kate wants to get Elliot something. Should I get something? Sort of my gift to Kate and Elliot? Or is our conjugal gift fine? I have Sawyer with me.

I place my phone at my clutch and listen to Mia and Kate talking. "I honestly don't know what to get Elliot." Kate declares, sighing. "He likes building stuff. He likes sports." Mia enumerates. "He likes sex." I say before being able to stop myself. Kate and Mia looks at me and laugh. I flush, embarrassed. "I didn't mean it to come out that way." I say, so embarassed.

"It's fine, Ana. We all know that." Kate says, smirking. Mia playfully pushes Kate away. "I don't need the image of you and my brother doing it in my head." Mia says, mock disgust on her voice. "So, where do you girls want to go?" I ask. "Is Sawyer coming with us?" Kate asks me as we exit the elevator.

"Yes, he is." I answer, putting on my light jacket. "Fine." Kate concedes, sighing. "You know Christian would flip if he knew Ana will be leaving without security." Mia adds. "Ana is a grown woman. She can take care of herself. She doesn't need security with her all the time." Kate argues. "Hello, did you meet my brother already?" Mia says. I laugh. "Stop it, you two. It's fine. He will just stay within a safe distance, right Sawyer?" I say, stopping at the front of the building. "Yes, ma'am." Sawyer says.
