Anastasia's POV
"Christian, I need to go to work. You take care of Teddy, and take care of the house. There's the pasta I cooked last night at the fridge, water the plants at the garden, and stay outside with Teddy for a while. He loves to see the surroundings." I said, hurriedly putting on my pumps.

"Wait. What? You are going at work?" Christian said, looking at me as if I've grown another head. "Yes, I am. Some of us have work to do, and my business partner arranged a video conference business meeting." I said as I went to the door. "What?" Christian said again.

"If this is one of your delaying tactics, you cannot stop me." I said, grabbing an apple and my bag. "Bring Taylor with you." He said, or more like he commanded. "Okay. Fine. Whatever. Take care of Teddy, okay?" I said. "Yes ma'am." He said.

"Mrs. Grey." Taylor said. "Bring me to my office and come back." I said. "Ana." Christian said. "Come back here after you bring me to my office and I'll call Christian if I'm gonna go home already." I said.

"Ana. Please." Christian said. I sighed. "Fine. Use my saab." I said. This man will give me my first silver hair. "Thank you, Ana." He said. He walked towards the door, carrying Teddy and hugged me. "Thank you, Ana. You've decreased my worries by a whole lot." He said, and kissed my hair.

"I love you." He whispered and smiled shyly. "I love you too, Mr. Grey. Bye. I know you can do it." I said. "Bye, Teddy. Don't give your daddy a headache." I said as I kissed Teddy. "Bye." I said to Christian. "Bye." He said.

"The directions of my office is already at the GPS, Taylor." I said as I sat at the passenger seat. "Yes ma'am." I said.

I read books at my ipad until we arrived at the office. "I'll call you if I need help." I said. He just stood there at the door of the car. "Taylor, take a day off. I can handle it." I said. "Mrs. Grey." He said, scolding me. "I can handle Christian, if that's what you are asking." I explained.

"Are you sure?" He asked. "Yep." I said cheerfully. "I'll see you later." He said, going to the driver's seat and zoomed away. I exhaled. Finally. A day of work.

Christian's POV
After Ana left, I turned on the tracking device and saw that she was brought safely to her office. Great. I feel relaxed. I took a bath, and went to Ana's room.

I saw Teddy on our bed, crawling. "Hey Teddy." I said as I placed him on his lap. I opened my laptop and placed it at the other. Teddy started poking at the screen. "Laptop." I said. He continued poking. "Okay, I need to do some work. Stop poking, okay?" I said as I removed Teddy's little hands away from the screen and started working.

I was checking the contract Ros made for GPC when she called. "Grey." I said. "I'll start the video conference in an hour. Is Ana with you?" She asked. "She went to her office." I said. "Okay. I'll see you later." She said.

My stomach grumbled. I haven't eaten since yesterday. What is happening? I searched for the bolognese sauce and pasta and reheated it. I think. I started eating, still with Teddy at my lap. How does Ana manage to do these things at once?

I was just about to wash, or should I say, try to wash the dishes when I heard Teddy crying. "Shit." I uttered. I went to Teddy and I think he's hungry. I made milk from the formula, following the instructions at the can and fed him.

I am literally sweating. "This shit is hard." I said as I leaned at the counter and grabbed a swig of water. I lied on at the couch and my body relaxed immediately. But my laptop alerted that the video conference started.

I placed Teddy on my lap so that he if he cries, he's by my side and I open the window. "Hello... Christian." Ros said, clearly amused with me and Teddy. "Is that Teddy?" She asked, in awe. I just stared. "Obviously. Just by the color of the hair." She said, laughing.

"So where's Ana?" I asked. "She's still not with you?" She asked, frazzled. "Where is she?" I asked. Where the fuck is she? "Excuse me, Ros." I said as I held my phone and dialed Taylor.

"Where is she?" I snapped. "I saw her went out for lunch." He said. "Saw? Saw?! You weren't with her?!" I shouted. "She told me she can handle herself." He explained. "What?" I exclaimed. "Ros. I'll call you later." I said as I closed the laptop, resisting the urge to throw it.

I placed Teddy on his crib and started pacing at the room. "Go to her assistant and ask her or him or whoever that assistant is on where Ana is." I said. What a day.

Anastasia's POV
"Ana. I'll call you after 1, okay?" Ros said. "Okay. See you later." She said. "Ana, there is a blond looking for you." Chase said as she opened my door. "That would be Ethan." I said.

"Ana!" Ethan said as I approached. "You clean nice." He said as he made me twirl. I slapped his arm playfully. "Just kidding." He said. "Why are you here?" I asked. "Remember the coffee you owe me?" He said.

Coffee? Coffee. Yeah, coffee! "Yeah. I remember." I said. "Are you free?" He asked. "Yeah... Sure. I guess." I said. "Okay! I'll wait for you outside." He said as he closed the door to my office. Chase went in, smirking at me.

"He's handsome. You look good together." She said as she looked at me arrange my things. "I don't think so, Chase. I don't like him." I said. "Really? Not a little bit." She teased. I sighed. "Chase, you know that I am married, right? And I have a kid with Christian." I said. "And?" She said. "And I love him... so much. And he loves me too." I said, convicing myself.

"Okay then. Tell Ethan I'm single and super available." Chase said as she winked. I laughed. "Noted. See you later. If someone asks for me tell me I'm having lunch with a friend." I said. "Okay. Enjoy!" She said.

"You ready?" Ethan asked, holding his coat. "Yup." I said. "Let's go." He said.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, what did I miss?" Ethan asked as we sat down. "Not much. Just Teddy." I explained, taking a sip of my iced tea. "He looks young." He said. "Yeah. I gave birth prematurely. He should've been just born in this month." I said.

"Really." He said. "Really." I said. It was followed by an awkward span of silence. "How about you?" I asked. "Me? Still the same. I'm halfway through with my internship." He said. "Great! And have you met some pretty nurses?" I joked. We laughed. "No. Not much. I mean, I haven't looked." He said.

"Wow. Ethan Kavanagh the blond god, not looking for a woman. A lot of women are crying now." I said. "Not really." He said. "What do you think of Mia?" I asked. He stopped from chopping his mignon, and looked at me. "H-how did you know?" He asked, the blush in his cheeks getting redder. "What?" I said. Then it hit me.

"You like her?" I asked. "Uh. Yeah. I guess." He said shyly. "But..." I asked. "Christian." We said at the same time. "You're afraid of him?" I asked. He just nodded. I tried to stifle my laugh. "You find my fear of Christian funny?" He said.

I nodded and finished my salad. "You shouldn't be. It's Mia who should like you, not Christian. And if he doesn't like you, he would. I would be telling him that you are a good man, and that you wouldn't hurt her." I said. He exhaled. "Thanks, Ana. That means a lot for me." He said.

I looked at my watch. It's 2. Shit. "I need to go." I said. Ethan immediately stopped eating and placed money on the table. "But you're not done yet." I said. "It's okay." He said as we walked towards the door of the restaurant.

"Thank you, Ana. Now I realized I really have a chance." He said. "Of course you do." I said. "I'll see you soon." He said as he hugged me. "Of course. Take care." I said as I released myself from his hug.

And at the best timing ever, I saw Christian shudder, and tears are running down from his face.
