Chapter eighty-five of 'The Boy In The Basement':
Two days after that oddly strange accident occurred, Dad asked me if I wanted to go on a father-daughter dinner and I said sure since I'm going to be leaving soon and I haven't been able to spend much time with him.
Tonight was the night and I tried my best to look nice. I even did my make up. It made my eyes pop and I looked a month younger than what I was to be honest. Since it was still sorta chilly, I put on khakis and a grey sweater. I curled my hair and wore jewelry. To say the least, I looked nice.
"You're always beautiful," Harry appeared by my door, even though it was shut. I jumped slightly and blushed, smiling at his kind words.
"You scared me, Harry."
"Yes, I know; it was my intention." Harry smirked, walking towards me.
Harry wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me, resting his chin on my head. My arms circled around him, resting my head against his chest and closing my eyes. He smelled really good. I could tell he recently just showered because it was his axe shampoo I could smell.
"Your dad is waiting for you, babe." Harry whispered, making me nod and pull back.
"Guess I should get going huh?" I smiled and grabbed my purse. Harry shoved his hands in his pockets and nodded.
"Guess so,"
"What are you going to do when I am gone?" I questioned.
"Maybe hang with Zayn or someone I don't know. I mean, I could sleep too."
"Well, you have fun with that," I stepped towards him and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "and I will be back later."

Dad brought us to a family dinner. I really liked this place; Zayn, Harry and I have been here a few times and I really enjoyed their food.
A woman ordered our food. Dad wanted a bacon cheeseburger and I got cheeseburger and some fries. Moments later, our food came back. We started eating and it was quiet; not an akward silence but a comforting relaxing kind of quietness.
"Thank you for taking me out tonight, dad." I smiled, dipping my fry into the ketchup. Dad nodded, not making eye contact with me and wiping his fingers off on the napkin.
"I have some bad news to tell you."
And now I know why you brought me to dinner.
"What is it?"
"I lost my job. It's because of Jocelyn. She made up lies saying I stole items from work and not even seven hours later- apparently -I lost my job." I went to say something but he continued.
"But, there is some good news! I found a job in Wolverhampton. I believe it's near where Liam lives? I don't remember exactly. I leave for the job interview May 2nd."
"Dad that's wonderful! But... May 2nd is prom." I looked down, wanting my father to be there for the biggest night of my high school life.
"Honey, I know and I hate the fact that I probably won't be there. But I have to leave early cause the interview is at six in the morning and I will be back the next day."
"I am happy for you though. I'm glad you got out of that place; maybe it was for the best." I suggested, smiling at him. He nodded in agreement and smiled even bigger.
Fourteen days later....
It was almost four in the afternoon when Olive and Tessa arrived to my house all dolled up. They were unbelievably beautiful.
