Chapter Thirty-Six of 'The Boy In The Basement':
Soon we were pulling up to the big, metal gates. They were already open (we never close them), so I just drove right on through. Sadly, the grass still needs mowed, but the house looks better then what it was two months ago.
"Wow," I heard all three boys breathe. I smiled, resting my elbow on the door as I drove, and wiped my bottom lip with my thumb and pointer finger.
"This is beautiful." Louis commented. "Thank you, Louis." I chuckled softly. The drive up to my house was quiet the rest of the way. Not an awkward silence, but just a silence that met everybody was taking in everything.
I parked my car in the driveway, and unbuckled my seat belt. "Well here we are." I stated, letting my hands fall down on my thighs. "Okay." Niall said, getting out of the car. Zayn opened up the passenger door and got out, and Louis opened the back door.
I took in a deep, sharp breathe and opened mine. I really hope Harry won't be mad at me for bringing them. He can't really be mad at me, can he? Well, he can, but I don't see why he would be mad at me. . .
I started walking up the porch, and the boys were following closely behind me. "I'm quite nervous to see Harry." Zayn said quietly. I turned around, looking at him. "Why?" I questioned. Zayn licked his lips and ran his hand through his hair. "I haven't seen him in over200 years." he answered softly.
I mentally face palmed myself, because I could've figured that one out. I gave Zayn a reassuring smile. "It'll be okay, I bet he'll be happy to see you." I squeezed his shoulder gently, and he nodded, smiling back. I nodded and turned back around to my door.
I opened it, and left it open for the boys to come in behind me. "Dad, Harry, I'm home! And I've brought company." I yelled as I shut the door after the boys came walking in. I shut the door. "You guys can keep your shoes on, we don't mind." I said to them.
"I guess that's a blessing for Niall," Louis said, patting Niall's shoulder. I gave them a confused look. "Do I even want to know?" Louis shook his head and Niall flashed a adorable smile. "I have really bad smelling feet." he said proudly.
I cringed, scrunching up my nose. Louis sighed and shook his head, Niall smiled with both hands in this pockets, and Zayn was chuckling at us, wiping his bottom lip. "That is just wrong," I said, shaking my hands. Then all the boys left.
I miss you.
My heart pace sped up at Harry's voice. I missed him too, so much. I smiled, and motioned for the guys to follow me. Harry, where are you guys?
Your Dad is at work, and I am in the living room just watching t.v.
I nodded, more to myself then anything, and walked into the living room. The t.v was turned on to 'Jessie'and Harry was lazily sitting down on the couch with his feet propped up on the coffee table. The boys stayed quite behind me.
"Oh, my God, it's actually him." I heard Zayn whisper quietly. Harry turned his head, and smiled when he saw us. "Hi, guys," Harry greeted, standing up and walking over towards us. "Hi!" they all chirped. I smiled.
Harry smiled and walked up to me, bending down slightly to connect his lips with mine. I smiled and kissed him back. I pulled back and smiled. "Guys, this is Harry. Harry, this is Niall, Louis and Zayn." I introduced each guy.
Harry smiled and shook hands with Niall, then Louis, then stopped at Zayn, looking at him. His facial expression was unreadable. "Zayn? Like thee Zayn Malik?" Harry asked. Zayn looked nervous, and he nodded.
"Yes." was all Zayn said. Harry brought Zayn in to a bro hug. "You made it pass the turning?" Harry asked. Zayn closed his eyes as he hugged Harry back, and the boys and I stepped back and smiled. Friends reunited. Are they even friends? Well, obviously, but you know what I mean.
