Chapter Thirty-Seven of 'The Boy In The Basement':
"Why isn't Liam with you guys now, then?" I asked, curious. Niall shrugged. "Me and Louis forgot to text him." Louis smiled, agreeing along with Niall, and I just rolled my eyes. How ironic is that?
"Zayn, I am so very sorry for your lost. I want you to know that Harry and I are here for you, and if you ever need to talk, we're here for you. Right Harry?" I looked over my shoulder to where Harry was sitting. His ankle was resting on his thigh for support to be held upright.
Harry smiled, bobbing his head up and down."Thanks guys. That really means a lot." Zayn commented, smiling as he wiped his eyes with his hand. I smiled. "I'm glad it does." I smiled.
Around 10 pm, all the guys left. They all gave me their numbers and vice versa. We told each other that we needed to make plans to hang out again. And, Zayn even told I could stop down by his shop whenever to get some drawing pointers, and whatnot. I thought that was very generous of his to offer me that.
"I haven't realized Zayn's back story held so much emotion." I sighed, sitting back down next to Harry. "Yeah, poor lad." Harry said sadly. I pursed my lips and sighed. "Harry? When you asked about Zayn earlier today, did you have any idea it'd be him?"
Harry shook his head to both sides three times. I just nodded my head, leaving it at that. I honestly do not know what to do now. Dad still isn't home. He texted me, saying his boss needed him there for a few extra hours, so I have no idea when he'll be home.
"Do you want something to drink?" I asked, standing up and facing Harry. Harry shook his head, "No thanks, babe." he smiled. I nodded and walked into the kitchen. I turned on the faucet and let it run for a few seconds. I leaned on the sink, with both hands in front of me, and looked out the window. I saw fireflies lighting up the yard, and I smiled.
I felt hands snake around my waist, and a body being pressed up against mine. I jumped, but breathed in, and recognized that familiar scent. Peppermints.
"Hi, Harry." I smiled, mostly to myself. Harry nuzzled his head in my neck, his curls tickling my face. I didn't mind though, it felt normal, to be totally honest. "Hello, beautiful." Harry mumbled, sending vibrations up and down my body.
I bit my lip, and blushed at the small gesture. I felt Harry's lips attach to my neck, and I gasped. "Harry! What are you-" Harry cut me off by saying "Shh", so I closed my mouth immediately. Harry continued to work up and down my neck, biting ever so gently, then blowing on the wet kisses.
I'm pretty sure I will have marks later. And what would I say to my Dad if he saw them?
You cover them up with make-up.
"Thanks for your help." I mumbled and closed my eyes. Harry laughed. I closed my eyes, and leaned back into his touch. I felt myself being turned around, and my back was pressed against the counter. I smiled up at Harry, and he smiled back.
I lifted my hand up and brushed some curls off from Harry's forehead. Harry closed his eyes and smiled. "Uh, thanks?" he chuckled. I and blushed and brought my hand back down. "Sorry, they were just invading your beautiful eyes." I said softly.
Harry's eyes glistened with lust, which made my knees go weak. Harry closed his eyes and leaned forward, catching my lips with his. I started kissing him back, and brought my arms up around his neck.
