Chapter fifty-one of 'The Boy In The Basement':

I'm not going to lie, I'm really nervous to meet Liam. And, we're pulled up in front of his house. Harry shut off the car, and my palms began sweating like crazy. Maybe this was a bad idea; maybe we shouldn't be here, and just leave Liam alone.

"Alice, are you okay?" Harry looked over at me with a worried expression. I licked my dried, chapped lips for what seems like the hundredth time, and nodded- but he didn't look convinced. He knows I'm not okay.

"I'm just nervous, 'sall." Harry looked at me, and he wasn't convinced; although he didn't question it. Harry shoved the keys into his jacket pocket and opened his car door to get out. I stayed in the car when I saw him walking over to my side.

He looks so calm like nerves aren't taking over his body like a vine to a plant. How is he so calm? Am I just over reacting? This isn't a big deal, I'm just over thinking it. Yeah, that's it. I just need to take in a deep breath, and smile.

Yes, please do because my head is starting to hurt from you complaining.

I rolled my eyes and grunted. Harry opened the door and the cold, autumn wind nipped at my bare skin. My outfit consisted of black leggings paired with white vans. I wore a light denim jean jacket with a light brown scarf around my neck. A gray beanie covered my head, hiding some of my long, brown curly hair.

Harry offered down his hand and I smiled, grasping his oddly warm hand. We walked up to this big two story house. It had a dark look to it, with vines crawling up the sides and front of the house. Big oak trees with different colored leaves hanging down. The fall wind blew through those trees surrounded the big house made them fly off, and fly by Harry's and I's faces.

That is just creepy; the big house, wind, dark cloudy skies, big oak leaves. That just seems very spooky to me. Although I've been through a lot worse then just a creepy house.

Harry breathed out threw his nose deeply and rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb, "It's going to be fine- we won't stay for long." I didn't answer, but I nodded. He gave me a reassuring smile and I gave a small one back.

We walked up the old, white steps and knocked on the big wood door. I could hear the knock I put on the door echo through the house. I gulped, my shaking making its self known again.

The wind blew once again, this time it was much colder then before. I shivered, and I could feel the goosebumps rising up underneath my cloths. I was beginning to hear footsteps approaching the door and I squeezed Harry's hand.

Alice, it'll be alright.

"What do you want?" A young British voice snapped through the door. Harry looked down at me and sighed, "I'm Harry, and this is Alice," he said.

"Oh, yes. The couple that is all over the immortal world; it's rather annoying to see your pretty faces pop up every time I walk around the Warrior's palace."

I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion. Why are we all over the immortal community? And, he seems to dislike it, which makes me very nervous on if he'll let us in to talk or not.

"We were wondering," Harry began, completely ignoring the rude comment by the anonymous person through the door, "If we can allowed in to talk to Liam Payne?" I heard a light scoff.

"I am Liam Payne, thank you very much. And, no, you are not welcomed in." Well, that was rather rude. "We would really like to talk about you becoming an Angel, and-"

"How the hell do you know about that?" he asked harshly. I pursed my lips, my anger boiling inside me. If he wants a decent conversation, he doesn't need to sound like a complete dick. I believe Harry could sense my anger rising us, and he took over talking again- not that I minded. Who the hell knows what I'll say to him if Harry didn't take over.
