It's the middle of the first month of school, finally settling in. As you were getting adjusted to your schedule summer was saying it's last goodbye. It wouldn't be cold until November but everyone knew days of ice cream and swimming were over. Nonetheless you were glad you made the move here. Today is the day you choose what club to join.

Definitely not football or track as you're not that athletic of a person. Maybe the cooking club but were never that great at home-you even burnt the toast. Most of your day was spent thinking about clubs while the teacher prattled on. At lunch you sat with the girls and asked their opinions, though it didn't really help you any. You like manga and cats but still aren't sure if that's just a hobby or something you want to do with others. Though you get the feeling anime is an accepted topic too.

That leaves the Garden Club. You do like flowers and the thought of providing yourself with food and helping raise the pumpkins for the ball but get a little weird with the thought of Francis. Then again, he said he doesn't come around during the cooler seasons so you should be fine. You planned to stop by the other clubs to see what's going on and to talk. You wouldn't approach Ludwig since you weren't really introduced. You smiled at the thought of talking with Feliciano and Kiku.

The bell chimed, signaling the end of class. You noticed a student had dropped their pencil. Rushing over you picked it up, tapping them on the shoulder.

"Excuse me, you dropped this."

The tall man turned around, his face framed by white hair. His eyes were a beautiful purple, yet elicited a cold gaze.

"Oh. Thank you." He slowly took the pencil out of your hand and left.

His gaze left you a little unnerved but seemed friendly behind the shyness. You went back to your things noticing a few eyes on you. Did you do something wrong? You shrugged it off headed for the next class. A student you've never seen before stood in the doorway blocking your path.

"Miss _, the Headmaster is requesting your presence."

"But I have class"-

"That is of no concern. Please head towards the Headmaster's Office."

You watched the strange pupil leave before heading there, wondering what you could have done wrong. Climbing the staircase to the second floor it suddenly dawns on you-when you and Alfred snuck out of the academy the other day. Crap! Did someone see us? You hoped that Alfred didn't get into a lot of trouble either.

Knock! Knock! Your fingers rapped on the door.

"Enter." A deep voice ordered.

You pushed the door open, revealing a room decorated in dark colors, a man sitting behind an ornate wooden desk. Walking across the room he beckoned for you to sit in the chair in front of his desk.

"Hello Miss _. I bet you're wondering why I summoned you here today."

You avoided eye contact, "I have an idea what this is about."

He laughed softly, "I always do appreciate honesty. Do you mind telling me your side of the story?"

You did so, your palms sweating from nervousness.

"I see. Well, I have already met with Mr. Jones."

Jones? Oh, he must mean Alfred.

"He claims, and I quote unquote, 'he dragged you along'."

You don't deny this though you could've easily protested.

"I'm in a forgiving mood today. As you're a new student, and I know Mr. Jones personality quite well, I will let you off with a warning. However, any offenses from now on will not be overlooked."

"Thank you sir." You bow and exit the room.

That was some luck. What did he mean by Mr. Jones personality? You laughed to yourself. You knew full well. As you opened the door Alfred was leaning against the wall pouting.

"_ I'm"-

You grinned cutting him off, "Next time we'll just have to not get caught."

He was shocked then laughed.

"Oh, I'm joining the Garden Club."

"Aww, really? I was hoping you'd join the cooking club so you could grill me some burgers!"

You playfully punched his arm, happy to go tell Eliza the good news.
