Below I'll type up a little update/what to expect for the Rewrite of PA, as well as maybe a future idea for the story too~
Precision Academy: ReVamped (2020)
I'm sure some of you have been patiently awaiting the rewrite of this story. (Goodbye cliche anime parallels, we won't miss you!) Here's a quick revisit on what it is and what you can expect:
PA ReVamped! is going to be an updated version of Precision Academy.
Why bother?
To be honest I'm a bit embarrassed people still read this story/new readers keep popping up, since it is older and my writing style has changed. ><
I was out of the fandom for a teeny bit as life chucked some lemons, but now that things are settling down a bit I'd like to get back into the swing of things.
There were a lot of problems with this story, from the vilification of certain characters (to the extreme, despite them being awesome) to a weird harem-not-harem as I tried to give the majority of the characters 'screen time' or focus. And lastly, focusing on certain characters to please everyone...(Z*ro vs K*name anyone?)
The most troubling thing for readers is that they expected a more concise romance with a particular character.
What You Can Expect:
1) Specific Character x Reader!
Yup, now you can truly romance who your heart desires! I won't be able to write a route for every character, but will include major + minor ones. (So tell me who you want most!)
2) Deeper relationships (including platonic)
You'll be able to spend much more time with a particular group of characters based off of a choice, mainly those who your Love Interest spends time with.
Update: The story version will be broken into specific routes for simplicity.
No matter who you choose, you'll spend time with the others since you're part of the same club. But you could also see other characters based on family/friendship ties.
For example, America might come around to pester you to make him some hamburgers every now and then. Or you could be invited to a picnic/wine-tasting party with BTT.
Game Ver?
The more I think of this, the better off I think it'd be as a game, too. And if I'm being perfectly honest, I already have the game backgrounds, ui, and music! All that's missing are the character sprites aka images and character illustrations.
(I'd like them to have a school uniform, but even if they didn't, I'd still need original art so they'd match the style of the backgrounds)
