Just what was his deal? You left his office feeling bitter. While it's true they attacked you before it was in the past. They wouldn't do something like that again. However his words carried a certain weight to them.

Not too long ago you were distraught, angry, the husk of your former self. People who promised to protect you broke their promises, people you considered friends drinking your blood. So why was now any different? You shook your head. You wouldn't be pessimistic like the Headmaster. It was different, THEY were different. Everyone was sorry for what had happened and you forgave them. Everyone was friends now. Your friendship was stronger than those animalistic urges.

You prepared to walk back to the dorm when an orange note on the notice board caught your eye. Usually it was flyers and business cards but this was special.

NOTICE! STARTING SEPTEMBER _ EXPERIMENTAL NIGHT CLASSES WILL BEGIN. THESE 'NIGHT CLASSES' WILL START AT 8PM AND END AROUND 10PM, DEPENDING. IF INTERESTED SEE IF YOUR CLASS IS LISTED BELOW AND TURN IN THE ATTACHED FORM AT THE STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICE.

Night classes? You were intrigued, scanning the list for one of your classes. Right...there! Your class was one of them to be taught at night. It seemed somewhat exciting. You were a night owl, after all. If it meant not waking up at the crack of dawn you were all for it.

Taking a gnawed on pen you filled out the form, heading towards the student council office. It was mostly empty save for three people. The man looked up, smiling when he saw you.

"_!"

"Hello Arthur."

He stood, "What brings you here?"

"Just turning this in."

"Night classes?"

"Yeah. It seemed interesting so I figured I'd give it a shot."

"Really? Hm, I can see why it would appeal to you."

"What are you trying to say?" You teased.

You expected him to get flustered like usual but he surprised you, "Oh, only that it's safer waking a grizzly than it is you."

"That's what you're going with huh?"

He smiled, "Where did you hear about this?"

"The notice board. If it weren't for it's orange color I probably never would've stopped."

"Another great marketing ploy."

"Seems so. Anyway, I should get going."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I don't want to distract you guys."

"Not at all. Well, I can't exactly speak for everyone." He turned to look at his team members busy working.

A girl looked up, "It's okay Arthur we've got things handled here."

"Are you certain?"

Typical Arthur. A gentleman no matter what.

The two of you stepped outside, the grass turning yellow.

"I was dying to leave that place."

"Haha. Really? Could've fooled me."

"Honestly. It's so stuffy in there. Not to mention there's hardly any legroom. Far too cramped for my tastes."

You were silent a moment.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Oh, just that I don't have any classes with my friends. Though that's to be suspected given my major."

"Maybe one of them thought of joining these 'night classes' as well?"

"Maybe, though doubtful. It's okay. Just gives me an opportunity to make more friends." You grinned.

"..."

"Your turn. What's on your mind love?"

"Is that-" he started laughing, "Is that your imitation of my accent?"

"Don't you think it's it jolly?"

"Oh now you're just being mean."

"Mean? Never. I'll have you know I am a gentleman through and through."

"Gentlewoman." He corrected.

The two of you laughed for awhile until you came to an invisible fork in the road.

"Well my dorm is this way..." He thumbed over his right shoulder.

"Right. Well it was nice talking with you, even if only for a little while."

"I completely agree." He smiled, his green eyes shining.

"Goodnight."

"Wait-are you sure you don't need me to walk you to your room?"

You chuckled softly, "I appreciate your offer but showing up with you would probably make things worse."

"Worse? What's that supposed to mean?"

"Picture a young man and woman walking together into the evening under the romantic sunset."

His cheeks flushed slightly, "You know, not all rumors are bad." He mumbled.

"What was that?"

"I said you're a smelly old cad! Goodnight!" He turned on his heels and sped off towards the brick building in the distance.
