Blurry shapes came into focus, faint voices murmuring. A green mass grew closer, materializing into Arthur, his worried face gazing into yours.

"Thank goodness, you're awake."

"Where...what happened?" You asked, rubbing the back of your head.

Something within him snapped, "Do you know how much you worried me?!"

You reeled back, surprised by his outburst.

"I was terrified! You're always so reckless, doing things on your own. Don't you know you have me?!"

Your eyes shifted to see Mei in the corner, shifting back to the fuming Arthur. He began pacing around the room.

"You never check in with me, or with anyone. You're always by yourself...and now look at what happened!"

"U-um"-

He held up a hand to silence you, "No, I won't hear any excuses."

                "Arthur..."

He stopped at Mei's soft voice, stepping closer to her. He bent down, her whispering something in his ear. His green eyes narrowed.

"Thank you. If you don't mind I'd like a moment alone with _."

She nodded, slipping out of the room.

A serious aura emanated from Arthur as he stepped closer, resting a knee on the bed.

"Let me get a closer look at you."

"Whuh-stop!"

His nimble fingers unbuttoned the bottom half of your blouse, white bandage stained with shades of red.

"I told you," you began, him slowly unraveling the bandages, "I feel fine!"

His hands paused, eyes full of surprise and...something else.

"What is it?"

You sat up half-way, the skin on your stomach completely normal.

"Not even a scratch..." he mumbled.

He lifted his eyes up, meeting yours with a serious gaze, "Who else saw this?"

"Huh? No one."

"You're positive?"

"Yeah...no one saw."

He studied you for a few moments before standing up. He turned his back, moving the shades aside with a finger, a shard of yellow light beaming inside.

"You don't have a clue how bad this is, do you?"

He sighed, eyes fixated on the outside world, "There's a school-wide hunt going on. Thanks to Eliza's description everyone is searching for the student that attacked you. However, I have the feeling he's long gone by now."

You didn't like this. Arthur's seriousness made you slightly afraid, made the situation more real. You sat up, pushing the blanket aside.

"What are you doing?"

"...Getting up?"

"No, no, no." He rushed to the edge of the bed, tucking you back in, "I forbid it."

"Huh?"

"You're not allowed to leave this room."

"Why not?" You raised your voice slightly.

"Are you dense? It's dangerous, and you're hurt-"

"I'm FINE. You saw it, the wound is healed."

"Irrelevant. You need to stay here, where it's safe."
