kihyun | love letters

You woke up, the sound of birds faintly chirping outside the curtained window.

Sunlight streamed through it, casting a glow into your fair skin. You moved your messed up hair into a messy bun and then began to rub at the corners of your eyes, trying to get the sleep out of them.

You looked over to your right. Your boyfriend wasnt there. Confused, you called out his name only to get silence in return.

Sighing, you began to wonder where he went. He wasn't at practice, today was his day off. So where would he be? He promised to spend the day with you.

You got up from the bed and walked your dresser in the corner of your room. Your phone laid in the middle, the LED light flashed on, signaling you had a message.

"Good morning, beautiful. Wondering where I am, hm? Check the kitchen, baby, a surprise awaits you. (;"

You grinned, letting out a giggle. You ran down the stairs to the kitchen.

On the table was a glass plate filled with perfectly fried eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. You stared at it in awe. The bacon was folded into little hearts that floated around the plate.

You noticed a letter attached to a mug filled with what smelled like coffee.

The letter was pastel pink with your name written out in cursive letters and a small heart next to it.

"Ha! How cute!" You said and detached the letter and flipping it over to open it.

You slid your finger under the crisp paper and ripped it along the edge. You opened it up and pulled out a folded piece of paper.

It read:

To my beautiful Lover,

I want today to be special. I made you some breakfast to help you keep up with the journey I'm about to send you on. (;
