The flower petals of the cherry blossoms fell down upon you. A light spring breeze flew past your lowered face, attention drawn down below to the book, sitting in your lap.

It was about two lovers, set in tragedy. Yes, some say it could be like Romeo and Juliet, ending in death and no real happy ending. But this one was only partially dreadful. One lover falling for the other only to be separated by the wrong fate.

Your imagination was interrupted by a soft hand on your shoulder.

"Jagi." A male voice called and you leaned back against the tree bark.

"Oppa." You said quietly, smiling up at his bright face.

"Reading, I see." He gently sat down beside you, glancing at the open pages,"How is it?"

"Mm...her lover is gone. Taken from her." You said as you moved your hair from your face and behind your ear.

You watched his scanning eyes as they looked at the page you left off at,"Her lover?"

You nodded,"He left her..he had no choice."

Minhyuk stared up at your last words, looking deeply into them. A sad feeling erupted in your stomach, washing over you like a wave of sorrow, the feeling was so sudden that you jumped alittle as a cold shiver fell down your spine.

"Can we talk about something..?" His voice lowered.

"Sure, anything." Now you were scared.

"I guess that makes two of us."He trailed off, looking back at the book.

"What?" You looked taken aback, confused by his statement.

He breathed in deeply before looking up into the afternoon sky. His blond hair being ruffled by the gentle stroking breeze, his eyes becoming light as the sun gleamed on them. He began to wet his lips before speaking.

"I.. have to leave too."

You couldn't begin tow process and wrapped your mind around his words fast enough. You blinked in silence, no words forming on your tongue.

"I'm moving." He said before looking back down at you,"I'm got accepted into a college. It's outside Seoul a little ways."

Why was this scene so beautiful yet so heartbreakingly tragic? The sun, beating it's bright rays down onto the tree casting light beams onto the green grass below. The flowers blooming, showing there first signs of spring. The weather finally warm and breezing, sending the cherry blossom petals scattering across the landscape.

And the news. News of his departure. Just like the lovers newly found love being separated. It was only fiction, but now it was like the scene was coming to life.

"No..Minhyuk..I.." Was all you could get out. You found yourself beginning to feel anger, your hands clenching around the book. You should be happy for his acceptance into college but those thoughts were clouded.

He noticed your hands and put his own semi-cold on top of it, holding it. You felt your heart slowly start to break from the touch, wanting to break away from it but he was all you had. All you needed.

"I'm sorry, Y/N." He said, sadly,"I'm thought you'd be happy." His hand left yours to push away a tear that fell to your cheek. It had gone unnoticed by you, falling down like cold summer rain. You didn't want him to leave so you put your hand to his and tightly pressed it into your face, closing your eyes against it.

When you opened your eyes again, you were laided down on the cool grass next to the tree. Minhyuk was beside you with his arm wrapped under your head lke a pillow.

You looked up to the sky to see that the sun had begun to set, fading the previous colors of blue into scarlet reds and blood oranges. A faint violet and pale pink glow shined onto the cherry blossom tree making it look heavenly.

This could be the last day.. before he leaves.. you'll see him again though.. it's not like he's leaving forever... right?
