Flor's P.O.V

"Come on! The project isn't that bad." Maya said as she slapped my arm playfully. "It's not like, it's a 10 page essay or anything."

We were walking to the local library to do some research for a history project on Seoul and it's architecture.

We walked through the front doors before I decided to answer her back.

"I mean, I know it's not that hard but it's the research I don't want to do."

Both turned a corner entering the history section. There were tons of books on the shelf. Ones about presidents and famous people. Agriculture and farming. We finally found the ones about architecture of local buildings.

It took almost an hour to track down several books that actually might be helpful for the research project.

We both struggled to carry the books over to a near by table where we let the books collapse onto it with a loud thump but not too loud to attract attention.

Finally we sat down, cracking open book after book. I pulled out my notebook and started writing some important information.

Maya soon got tired of reading, laying her head down, her mop of dark hair covering the whole book.

She suddenly sat up,"Hey, you hungry? I sure am. Like starving hungry."

I nodded,"Yeah, alittle bit."

"Cool." She dug in her backpack and flashed a five dollar bill in front of me and grinned. "Be right back!"

She dashed off for the vending machines on the other side of the room.

'I might as well take a break while she's getting stuff.'

I leaned back in the wooden chair, it hurt my back but I closed my eyes and ignored it, trying to stretch the knot out of my back.

I must have drifted off a little bit because when Maya got back, I was jerked awake suddenly and was confused for a minute of where I was.

"Sleeping aready? That's a no no."
She teased me and swung a chocolate bar in front of my face. "It's not the healthiest but at least it's something."

I quickly took it and took it a bit savoring the sweet and bitter flavor of the chocolate.

I saw Maya open a bag of potatoe chips and munching on them, they made a loud crunch everytime she bit into one.

"Oh my god." She said through a month full of chips. "Is that...Changkyun?!"

I looked at where she was looking. And yep, there he was, Lim Changkyun. The silent popular boy I'm deeply in love with.

He was sitting at a table far against the window, he was facing us but his head was down, looking at a book. His brown hair covered his forehead and he looked so handsome as he leaned against his hand to help keep his head up.

Maya looked at me with wide eyes and the biggest grin I've ever seen,"Nows your chance! He's alone, with no fangirls on him to distract him, go on! Go talk to him!"
