Riiing~

You bolted upright with a huge smile on your face.

Today is the day!

If it were yesterday or any day before that, you would have normally let the clock buzz all day to its hearts content and you would pretend not to hear anything or at least wait for someone to tell you to smash it.

Usually, Jooheon, your husband would gently tap the button causing the clock to stop ringing. And like normal days, he would broodingly stand up and stretch his long arms and legs for a few minutes and head downstairs for coffee and a hot shower afterwards.

Just like yesterday, after being finished with all that, you would be found in bed still, curled up like a baby in the warm comfort of the endless supply of pillows.

But today is not any normal day.

You were not a light sleeper. If there would be any light sleepers around, that would be Jooheon and every one knows you slept
like a log, with a very suspicious smile and drool coming out of the corner of your lips from time to time.

But Jooheon found your way of sleeping a serene display of innocence as you managed to still pull it off very cutely. There were times that Jooheon would watch you sleep when he hadn't been around for days. During those times of long hour days of practicing and performing, he missed you. You were husband and wife after all.

If you did end up waking up early, that day probably meant something. And with your fondness for special events, you became extremely excited and your anticipation for this kind of thing never seemed to be on the same level as your husband's.

You nudged Jooheon who was covered with blankets. He only responded with a simple slight wave of his hand. You giggled and pulled down the blanket slightly to reveal Jooheon's honey colored skin and disheveled red hair. He groaned and shifted, an obvious indication of his annoyance.

Another giggle came out from your mouth,"Joohoney." You got a groan in reply.

"You're soooo cute!" You bent down to give him a quick peck on the lips,"Good morning." You said.

You analyzed the situation, he won't be up for another two hours or so. You glanced around the room, on the calendar, there were hearts drawn around the day of 30th of April. You smiled brightly, today was April 30th.

Today is the day!
It's your first wedding anniversary.

Jooheon hadn't been able to get at least a straight and decent three-hour sleep due to his practicing. As soon as he returned from Starship Entertainment two hours after midnight, he instantly vanished and plopped down in bed with you already asleep.

Jooheon slowly opened his eyes. There was something different when he opened them. He came to realize that the person beside him had mysteriously vanished. He sat up in alarm. Shit! What the hell? You weren't supposed to be up before him!

"Yah-" before he could even finish his sentence, the door sprung open. Beaming with delight, you walked towards him with a tray of breakfast.

You smiled,"Morning, handsome!"

Jooheon felt something alarming by your aura. You were happy. Too happy. Happier than yesterday, happier than any other normal day. He raised an eyebrow at you.

You smiled even more as you laid the tray on your bedside table. You faced him as if you were waiting for something to happen. Moments passed by and nothing happened, you frowned a little but smiled again at him. "How was your practice?" You asked.
