Jailee and outfit in MM

~•*~•*~•*

There's nothing better than the feeling when you wake up late on a Friday morning and not have to get ready to go to work. I took off today, so I can have a three-day weekend due to my birthday. Checking my phone there was a text from Bryson and a whole bunch of notifications from social media.

"Be ready by six I got something planned for my baby 💍."
Bryson texted.

"Ofc daddy 😏👅."
I replied.

The concert started at eight, so I guess Bryson had something planned for before then.

Just then, I got a phone call from my father.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Jai." He started. "I was calling to wish you a happy early birthday, just in case I forget tomorrow. You know how busy I be."

"I know." I responded.

"What're your plans for today?" He asked me.

"I'm going to a concert tonight, but I may be doing something else before that."

"Who you going with?" He asked me.

"My new boyfriend."

I was unsure of whether I should've told him or not. Bryson isn't exactly the type of guy my father would approve of. My dad's very stereotypical. Once he sees Bryson's tattoos, he'll automatically jump to conclusions and think that Bryson's some type of thug or gangbanger.

"The guy you were talking about before?" He asked me.

"Yeah."

"What's his name?"

"Bryson." I replied.

"Tiller?!" He asked as his tone of voice got higher. "That guy you made the Wal-Mart spokesperson?"

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

"The one with all the tattoos?"

I knew that was coming.

"The only reason why I allowed you to keep in contact with him was for business purposes only."

"He's really nice though."

"Do you have any idea how sneaky guy are these days!?" He scolded. "How do you know whether or not you're the only girl he's talking to?"

"Bryson's not that type of guy."

That's one thing I know for sure.

"At the end of the day, I date who I want." I told him.

"I just never imagined you dating a guy like him." He sighed.

"Like what? You don't even know him!" I snapped.

"Do you see him as a potential husband?" He asked me.
