Last night was the best night, despite the fact that Bryson and I argued I actually had the best sleep since Bryson came back and since I had Trent. No waking up every hour or two to get a bottle or to change a diaper, and I wasn't pushed to the edge of the bed and the sheets weren't being pulled off of me by Bryson.

Like I do every single morning before getting up, I checked all my social media where I was still getting a few
more baby congratulations.

Once I found the strength to get up I heard Bryson talking to someone at the door. I hovered over the loft a little to I could see more. I couldn't see who was at the door, but I could see Bryson talking to some female.

"All her stuff is in this bag." The woman said handing Bryson a big duffel bag.

"She's hooked on a schedule, so she's used to eating breakfast from eight to eight-thirty. She's used to watching cartoons from eight-thirty to eleven. By twelve she expects lunch and from one to two she'll go in her room and play. From three to five she usually takes a nap. At five she expects a snack, but nothing too sugary because she'll bounce off the walls. What Lexi gave her was animal crackers which is also in the bag. At six she expects dinner. From seven to eight she'll either watch cartoons or play in her room, so it's basically free time for her. She should be tucked into bed by eight-thirty and sleeping before nine. Do you understand what you have to do Bryson?"

Bryson nodded even though I know he didn't hear nor comprehend a word she said.

"Remember, this is a big transition for her so make sure she's comfortable at all times."

Bryson nodded again.

"Daddy!" Harley said hugging Bryson at the knees as he smiled down at her.

"I'll call to check on her and see how she's doing after about a week or so. Bye Harley!" The lady said.

"Bye grandma!" Harley said waving before Bryson closed the door.

I walked down the steps coming behind Bryson.

"What was all that about?" I asked causing him to turn around.

"Lexi's mother." He plainly replied.

"And what was she talking about?"

"We got full custody of Harley now since the police officials think Lexi is an "unfit irresponsible mother", so now she's stayin' with us for a long time."

"And this is the first you're hearing about this?"

"She just came this mornin' with all her stuff telling me this."

I heard Trent crying from the living room, so I went to tend to him. I warmed a bottle up for him as he sucked away.

"You aight with everything?" Bryson asked me.

"Oh sure Bryson. I'm fine with everything your crazy ass baby mama has done to us." I said rolling my eyes.

"Before you get mad, I got somethin' that'll make you happy again."

"What can it possibly be Bryson?"

"Drake invited me to his all white gala tonight."

My jaw dropped.

"You're lying." I smirked.

"Wanna see texts?"

"You text him Bryson?!" I literally screamed.

"He hit me up on IG and we took it from there. He wants me to sign to OVO."

"Oh my god Bryson! This could be your big break!"

"Yeah, but I don't think I wanna sign with him."

"Why?!"

"I just don't think I'm good enough to work with all those artists."

"About the gala..."

"I knew you were gonna bring that up again."

"Other celebrities are gonna be there right?"

"It is a party hosted by Drake, Jai."

"I can't believe this Bryson."

"And I invited Devvon and Lauren."

"What time is it?"

"Eight to two."

"But wait Bryson, you know I don't want to leave Trent with my mother for that long plus he's too young."

"Your mother's good with kids I'm sure she'll be great with the kids while we're gone."

I was skeptical about leaving my mother with Trent, but I sure wasn't about to miss out on Drake's party.

"You're probably right Bryson."

When 6:30 struck, Bryson and I started getting ready. I made sure to call my mother and fill up all of Trent's bottles before getting myself ready. It took me
over twenty minutes to rummage through my closet for something white that was appropriate for the occasion.

I finally settled on a dress and got dressed. Bryson wore a white button up shirt with his white Balmain jeans and all white Vans. He just looked too damn good.

He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me close to him.

"You lucky I can't break you off yet." He whispered in his deep seductive voice as he slid his hands down to my butt.

He knew how much I loved that.

Just then, the doorbell rang. I want to go get it and I was greeted by my mother.

"Where's my grandchildren." She asked.

"Hello to you too, Ma."

"Hey baby." She laughed.

"Trent's bottles are in the fridge." I explained to her as I grabbed my purse. "You put his bottles in the microwave for thirty seconds so it can be warm enough. I left wipes, diapers and toys in the living room for him. Don't worry about Harley too much she'll just be in her room watching cartoons or playing for majority of the time."

"Don't worry about the kids tonight, babe. Just have fun." She said.

After saying our goodbyes to Harley, Trent and my mother we were on our way.
