Danse Macabre.

A/N:

Ugh it's almost finals. My finals are like...tomorrow and you know what? The first one is MATH. MATHE-FRIKIN'-MATHICS. I have been procrastinating all day and only now I begin to study...

...I'm going to fail these exams.

Anyway, my life problems out of the way, I'm going to talk a bit about this story. While I was eating, I randomly decided to formulate the last bundle of chapters before I end the book.

The last bundle of chapters will be called "Danse Macabre" and I've somewhat got a layout for the what'll happen in the chapters to come. There will also be a few changes that I want to acknowledge so you people won't be confused later on.

Next, I will only put the title of the chapter. I will no longer be putting the chapter number and its title. "Danse Macabre" will be composed of 5-7 chapters. It may be less than the designated or more than the designated, but I am pretty sure "Danse Macabre" will not exceed --Haha, EXCEED XD-- 10 chapters.

With that out of the way, I have come up with a teaser of what's to come. Hope you enjoy and I hope this thing makes you excited --WTF NOT SEXUALLY-- for what's to come --GOD SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BRAIN.--

"There's only one thing to do, Hikari. You know it. We can't last much longer, he's to powerful," you said, watching as HE wreaked havoc upon the already mangled battefield.

"She's right. If only things haven't come to this, you had so much to live for, Y/N."

You smiled weakly, "I know. I just hope Sting's going to cope with it."

You watched as two warring forces collided yet again, destroying the once beatiful landscape even more. You sighed and sat down, feeling drained.

"We can only take so much, especially under the circumstances we're under," Hikari said.

"True."

"Shall we?"

You smiled weakly, willing your exhausted body to exert its powerful magic once again. The familiar marks appeared all over your body as you sighed sadly.

"You're incredibly okay with this, Y/N. How come?" Hikari asks.

"It's either this or the world we know will come to an end. I may not be able to see Sting's face ever again but it's better than seeing him suffer under his rule. God knows what he'll do if he takes over the world," you said.

Hikari nodded before she spread her gargatuan wings and roared loudly, the dragon by her side did the same. You felt incredibly puny alongside the two giants but the fact that they treat you as an equal in power made up for the sheer difference in size.

"If this doesn't work, what'll happen?" you couldn't help but ask.

"I assure you, Y/N. It will, he may be an all-powerful divine being but not even he can withstand the power of four dragons."

"You are aware that the fourth dragon may not be completely okay with this idea, right?" Hikari said, "He's too full of himself and his title."

The dragon next to Hikari smiled, "Exactly."

"What?" you questioned.

She continued, "He is indeed incredibly full of himself and he is very proud of the title given to him. That's why I know he won't bow down to anybody, not even a divine being. I am aware that he would rather rot in hell along with his title than bow down to anybody."

"That's..." you pause, "actually really realistic now that I think about it."

"Told you."

Hikari snarled, "C'mon the two of you, delaying this will only make us more likely to turn back on our decision. Let's end this once and for all."

"The world we live in now can no longer cope with the existence of dragons, as shown with the incident that took place after the Grand Magic Games. It's why it is very important that every single dragon gets wiped out, humans and dragons cannot live alongside each other without conflict," you said.

You stared at the scene before you, "We must all be taken out, for the sake of the future generations."

"For the sake of the humans," the two dragons chanted.

"...for Sting's sake."

The three of you were about to make your love until you were suddenly held back by two strong arms wrapping around your waist. Your entire body stiffened as you felt Sting bury his face in your shoulder.

"How did you-?"

"Flaire brought me here!" he interrupted, "What do you plan on doing, Y/N!?"

"Sting, it's for the sake of the worl-"

"Don't give me that crap!" he yelled, "What about me!? I can't accept it! To hell with the world! I'm not letting you push through with this!"

You turned around and pulled him into a gentle kiss, tears streaming down your cheeks as Sting held you by the waist. When you pulled away, you realized he was close to tears as well. You flashed a strained smile before you rested your forehead against his.

"Don't cry, okay? Your head's too far up your ass for that," you said.

"Y/N."

You kissed him once again before you held his hand gently. He stared at you with the most pained expression you had ever seen. It shattered your heart to see him like this but you had no choice.

You let go of his hand before a lone tear slid down your cheek.

"I love you."

WTF I AM NEARLY CRYING OVER HERE.

OH MY GOD THAT WAS LONGER THAN INTENDED. ANYWAYS, ON A BRIGHTER NOTE, HIKARI MENTIONED FOUR DRAGONS. OBVIOUSLY THE TWO DRAGONS ARE HIKARI AND THE MYSTERIOUS DRAGON BESIDE HER, BUT CAN ANYBODY GUESS WHO THE OTHER TWO DRAGONS ARE?

I kinda hinted who the fourth dragon was, but who's the third? --Sorry for the caps lock btw, haha--.

Bonus Question:

Can anybody also guess who the mysterious dragon who stood alongside Hikari was as well?

I won't say if you're right or wrong because I have my finals to do, but I hope this teaser got you all wondering about what'll happen in "Danse Macabre."
