Mark Blackthorn (Lady Midnight spoilers but not really)

So I'm only part way through lady midnight, but Mark Blackthorn is already becoming one of my favourite characters.

Like, just the way he apologizes to inanimate objets and asks for a plate of strawberrys and sits on roofs like THEY'RE ALL THINGS THAT I DO

Honestly I'm a sucker for overly polite characters *cough* Jem *cough* Shade *cough* Elide *cough* and MARK IS JUST ONE OF THOSE CHARACTERS

I didn't origionally think he was going to be one of my favourite characters, but not lady midnights happening and MARK JUST YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL!

I'm in a reading slump at the moment and I don't want to force myself to read LM but I'm also really looking forward to reading stars above and I really want to get onto it and LMs so long and I'm considering putting it aside for a while and reading stars above and then coming back when I'm in more of a ready mood so I can enjoy it more, but at the same time I really don't want to be spoiled and I just...

It's not that lady midnights not good... its just that I want to read stars above and I really love TLC and I'm just caught in between, but I don't like putting books on hold and I really do want to find out what happens in lady midnight

I feel like really I keep going back to LM because I want to see if Jem and Tessa turn up because JESSA!!!
