Tom's POV

He loves me? No, that was a metaphor, or a simile, or whatever, fuck vocabulary. Doesn't matter what it was, he was just expressing his friendship and acceptance towards me.

"I love you too, man," I said quickly.

I looked over. His face was redder than a tomato. He must've realized what he said.
He remained silent again.

"I'm sorry Jordan," I mumbled to him.

"Why?" he looked over to me quickly. Then he focused back on the road.

"For putting you through this shit," I said to him.

"It's not shit Tom, you're fine. Again, I'm glad you told me," he said.

I rarely got to hear Jordan cuss, but I loved it when he did. It was actually pretty sexy.

He turned into the Village Inn parking lot, and parked next to Tucker's car.

"Wheeeeeeew! Who wants pancakes?" Tucker asked, as we got out of the car.

"I'm more of a waffle guy," Jordan said.
He likes waffles, I'll have to remember that.

We walked inside together and enjoyed our breakfast. Tucker drove me back to his house, where I was staying, and Jordan drove home and told us he'd talk to us on the stream.
