School doesn't officially start until tomorrow, it's Sunday. I have nothing to do because Nikki likes to get up and jog every morning, which is something I do not do. I'm not out of shape, I'd say I'm in shape. I can go up a flight stairs without getting out of breath surprisingly. I get up and brush my brown hair and brush my teeth. I put on concealer, mascara and top eye liner.
Just as I was about to text my brother, he texts me first.
From Andy: Come over! You gotta see the rest of town and make friends.
Alex: Okay, I'll be over in 20 minutes*
I click send and put on a pair of yoga pants, running shoes, and a black v-neck that goes past my butt. Since it's fall, I put a sweater on and a beanie that has a little ball at the top. The wind is making it cold, but I like the cold. I walk around town trying to remember where he told me and the more eyes I see on me, the faster I walk.
"How was your first night in college?" Andy asks once I'm inside.
I didn't really sleep much actually..
"I didn't do much, but I enjoyed it." I say making him feel guilty for not introducing me to his friends yesterday. I'm not good at making friends usually because once they find out how "weird" as they me, they slowly ditch me. I was hoping to start over in college..
We hop in the car and drive to the other side of the campus. Andy sticks his key in the front of his frat house, but looks at me and stops.
"Pull your sweater down." He instructs me.
"Why?" I ask confused.
"Those leggings show too much. I don't need them staring at you."
"They aren't leggings, they're yoga pants, but fine, whatever." I tug my sweater down some but it just pops back up leading him to squint at me with annoyed eyes.
"My sister is here! Put some clothes on!" He shouts up the stairs and to the people downstairs. I thought that I wouldn't be the only girl here..there's nothing but guys.
I hear guys voices littering everywhere. One girl comes downstairs with a guy's shirt on and he's ushering her out the door and he high-fives another guy with black hair.
"That's Zayn." My brother tells me with warning eyes.
I sit down on the couch and I meet the guys that live with Andy. Andy tells them about me while I look around from my seat. I get to know most of them and I meet my brother's best friend, Liam. He seems like a sweet guy. He also doesn't seem like someone that would live in a frat house with guys like these. It's hard to hear them in here, the television is up way to loud and the music is making my ears ring
"Hi, I'm Harry." A brown shaggy haired guy came towards me with his hand out.
"Alex." I smile back. I let go off his hand and get back to the conversation. I stare at the tattoos on his body while he isn't looking. We begin playing video games and whoever loses has to do a dare. There is no "truth" in this game. Just dares.
"You're not playing." Andy says to me before the game even starts in my ear and gets up to go get the game controllers from his room. He comes back and Andy and Harry begin playing a video game that has to do with boxing. There's music booming from upstairs and downstairs. It's like a big club house here. It's so hot in here from the amount of people beginning to come in here.
"It's just a few people coming over, sweetheart. Calm down." I get up to grab a glass of water, ignoring Zayn.
All of these people are making me claustrophobic and on edge. There's so many hormonal, buff guys here and yes, it's attractive, but I know I'm the weakest one in here and the shortest. It just reminds me of dad's old parties.
