Niall's P.O.V
I get out of class ten minutes after Alex and I check my watch that reads 1:10. I slip my shades on to my face and walk to my car and lift the handle, but it doesn't open. I look inside and Alex isn't in there.
What the hell am I supposed to do now? I reach my phone out of my front pocket and call her.
"Hello?" She answers, out of breath.
"Where are you?"
"I'm running another lap because I was late to class. I'll be out in five minutes."
She hangs up. What will I do with five extra minutes? I scroll on my phone and text my younger sister, Elle, that is a junior in High School.
I lean against the side of the car as Elle tells me how much she hates school. I hate the fact that my hatred for school has rubbed off on her. Elle tells me how there's a guy at her school that likes her and I tell her that he better be up to my standards.
My head snaps up as I see a tired Alex walking slowly over to my car. She could be running and I wouldn't even notice, because every time she walks I just see her in slow motion. Her face lights up as she looks up from her cell phone and in my direction.
I don't know if I'm supposed to kiss her whenever she walks up to me or hug her. I don't usually get nervous around girls whenever it comes to stuff like this, but it's only Alex that I get antsy around.
"Hey," Alex smiles up at me and I notice her face red and sweaty. She's wearing those same "spanky" shorts that Elle wears whenever she'd go workout before I moved. I kept telling Elle to stop wearing those because guys will look at her ass like I'm about to Alex as soon as she walks to the other side.
"Hey, Alex." I playfully shake the giant ass messy bun that sits on top of her head. She laughs and tries to give me a hug.
"No, no, no, you're all sweaty." Her roommate's shirt is drenched in sweat. Alex's forehead has sweat still falling down to the side of her face.
"I need the keys." I reach my hand out.
"What if I wanted to drive?" She says putting the keys behind her back.
"Hah! Not happening." She gives me that "Oh really bitch" look. That's what Elle used to call the facial expression, whenever she'd argue with my mom.
"It's an expensive car, Alex." I roll my eyes behind my sunglasses.
"I saw that." She smirks, squinting her eyes at me. I didn't know she could see my eyes. Well, she is close enough to see.
"Alex, come on. I'm ready to go home." I reach my hand out, waiting for my keys to be placed in them.
"Let me drive." She protests. If I were her I would want to ride in the passenger seat, letting the air conditioner blast cold air on me after running so much.
"No."
"Well, looks like nobody's going anywhere." She shrugs while grinning and walks over to sit on the curb, smiling. If she was an ordinary girl, I would have snatched the keys out of her hand and left her ass stranded at this school.
I groan and give in, letting her drive my Range Rover. She squeals and gets in the drivers seat. I go around and sit on the opposite side of the drivers seat.
She starts up my car and adjusts the seat.
"I like sitting here." She smiles at me.
"Just drive carefully, okay?" I say seriously to her and she nods.
