Alex's P.O.V

After class, I drive my car to the gym to workout. I've been doing that for two days because of what happened between Niall and I, it was my fault but at the same time it wasn't. He left right after I slapped him, I kept hitting him and he grabbed my wrists to make me stop, but I immediately thought of my father and hit him harshly in the face. Niall left calmly, but he looked like he gave up on trying to fix what was happening. I called him yesterday to apologize, but he didn't answer.

To Niall: Can we talk?

From Niall: There's nothing to talk about.

To Niall: Please?

nothing..

To Niall: Well, I'm heading to the library to study. Can you meet me there?

From Niall: No, I'm busy.

To Niall: Okay.

I go to my apartment to freshen up, I do my makeup to avoid attention from strangers that will look at my eye and put on my peach maxi skirt with a white crop top and brown sandals. I let my hair air dry into its natural waves, then put it in a bun. I fill my big brown purse with my assignments and carry my textbooks, the breeze is nice out, so I walk to the library rather than drive.

My homework is neatly scattered on the rectangular table along with my two textbooks. I keep an extra pencil inside of my bun because I don't want the pencil lead writing and poking holes in my bag, this is quite a bit of homework and I'm getting tired.

My empty coffee cup is sitting next to my papers, the caffeine in the coffee has yet to kick in and I'm getting tired and overwhelmed, I silently groan and l put my head down on my arms on top of the table.

"Is someone sitting here?" A man asks.

"No, help yourself. I'll move my assignm-" I stop grabbing my papers and stare at Niall. He puts a textbook with a notebook on top of it on the table and sits down.

"I-um, I thought you were busy?" I say to him while he flips through the pages of his book.

"What did you want to talk about? Can I see your pencil?" He says bluntly in a normal voice. I give him the pencil in my hand and get the one out of my hair.

"Oh, um, I just wanted to talk about us. Are we still togeth-"

"What happened to your eye?"

"I put makeup on, so it won't sh-"

"I can still see it." He cuts me off for the second time.

"Well, I tried to cover it u-"

"Well, you didn't try hard enough." He taps my pencil on his papers and I stare at him debating on if I should throw my textbook in his face or throw his own textbook in his face.

"This was a bad idea, I'm just gonna go back home." I give a small smile and pack my things up. All I wanted was to apologize and he's being a complete dick, I'm going to leave before he says something even more rude, then our relationship will be over. For good.

I don't feel like going home, it's two o'clock in the afternoon and I actually took my time getting dressed, so I'm going to the mall. My keys dangle in my fingers as I put them in the lock and step inside.

El calls my cell phone just as I was about to dial hers asking me if Niall and I wanted to come to a pool party at her friends party, whenever she told me there was going to be food, I said yes. I put my swimsuit on and put my clothes back on over it, my school related things will get finished tomorrow so I move them out of my purse and put my towel inside of it along with other things that usually go inside of my purse. I grab my sunglasses, floppy summer hat and car keys, then head out of the door.
