Unpredictable

chapter 10

We arrive at the cell phone store and a woman comes to help us.

"How can I help you?" She smiles at me.

"She needs a new phone." I look at Alex and she's glaring at the woman.

"Oh, you're the lady that called here?" The employee nods at Alex with an evil look.

"Obviously."

"Okay, we need a phone." I snap my fingers in the lady's face to bring her attention away from Alex.

The worker goes behind a door, bringing back a phone and rings us up for 50 dollars. Alex pulls her card out handing it out, but I take it from her, handing the lady my card.

"Thank you." Alex says smirking taking back her card out of my hand.

"Here you go." She hands her a boxed up iPhone and Alex takes it out, examining it.

"The screen is already cracked." She shows me, whispering.

"Speak loudler, Alex." He looks at me annoyed, so I just showed him the phone.

"What the hell? The front screen is shattered." I say looking over the device.

"This phone is used." I take it from Alex's hold and give it back to the lady.

"Just like your little girlfriend here." She mumbles and walks off to get a new one near the displays.

"Here." She says tossing the phone to Alex.

Alex hands me the phone gently then turns back around to the employee.

"I heard what you said." She says walking up to the lady. She's not wearing a name tag, so I just call her "that lady".

"About you being used?" She smirks at Alex, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"Alex, come on." I grab her hand and she glares at the lady.

"Go on," She shoos us away. "Go be his bitch some place else."

I feel Alex yank her hand from my hold and push the lady. The woman comes back and hits Alex in the stomach. Alex snatches at the woman's hair, throwing her on the ground.

"Get off of me!" I hear the woman shout. I know I should probably stop them, but this woman deserves it.

Alex punches the woman in the jaw and I'm surprised that Alex is doing this. She's so gentle like a baby sheep. I place the phone on the shelf, runnning over to them and pull Alex off of her. It's easy to pull her away because she's light. Alex's hands try to pry my arms from around her, but I don't let her go. The woman gets off of the floor and charges towards Alex, grabbing her by her hair. Alex screams out in pain as the lady swipes her sharp nails over her face.

A guy comes running up to the fight and sees the employee lady holding on to Alex's hair. 

"Control your girlfriend!" The man shouts at me.

She's not my fucking girlfriend.

"Me? You need to control your fucking zoo animal of an employee!" I grip the front of his shirt, bringing him to me while I still hold Alex.

"If you don't get her, I'll get you. Take your pick." I growl at him in his face. He nods quickly and I throw him back.

Alex punches the woman in the eye allowing the crazy ass lady to let go of her hair. This woman is twice the size of Alex. If that woman was a man, I would've beat the shit out of him, but this was a woman and I wouldn't ever hit a female.
