Niall's P.O.V

-

I hop in the car, still chewing on my donut that I had picked up from the donut shop "Hole in one." The name of the shop is very cheesy, but their donuts are so damn delicious. I bought a bag of donut holes for Alex. Donut holes are just mini donut balls. I get back on the road and drive to Alex's dorm. It's 9 o'clock and class starts at 10, but she insists on getting to class early.

I honk the horn and wait for Alex to come downstairs. I flip through the radio channels to see what's on while I wait. There's nothing, but news casts on. I tune in to see what's going on nowadays. They talk about gas prices and the weather. I shut the radio off, realizing that I have been waiting for 15 minutes. I'm getting impatient, so I begin to check my voicemails on my phone. Deleting them all, before getting out of my car and catching the elevator to Alex's dorm.

I knock on the door and five minutes later, it's slowly opened revealing a sleepy Alex. Her hair is all over the place and she's in fuzzy giraffe pants with a plain black v-neck.

"Oh my God!" She screams running into her room. I laugh at her appearance although it's cute in some sort. I follow her into her room and sit on the bed that is neatly made up, that I assume is her roommates.

"I overslept! I'm so sorry." She shouts from the bathroom. She tells me that I can leave her here and she'll walk to class, so I won't be late for class.

"I'll wait." I answer her and grab the photo from the side of the bed, taking in how adorable Alex was with Andy whenever she was younger. Andy has Alex sitting on her lap while she's  holding a bag of marshmallows in her hand.

Alex comes out 10 minutes later, with her hair finished, glasses on, and it looks like her eyelashes got darker. I hate that shit. It makes girls look like raccoons. I didn't know she wore glasses. She looks ten times smarter.

"I know, I know. Don't laugh, my contact fell down the drain yesterday." I try hard not to laugh at her because it seems like something she'd do. She grabs a pair of sweatpants and rushes back into the bathroom. I wouldn't mind if she changed here, honestly.

She grabs her purse and tells me she's ready.

"You slept in that shirt, Alex." I point out, laughing slightly as we get into the car. She shrugs and tells me she didn't have time to pick out a shirt. I start the car up and begin to back up whenever Alex unlocks the door and unbuckling her seat belt.

"Where are you going?" She just rushed in 20 minutes to get ready and now she wants to go back in?

"I forgot to get food." She says quickly.

"I got you breakfast on my way here." I hand it to her and she thanks me.

"Okay, I'm about to start driving, so don't do that again." I laugh lowly at her. She shoves donuts into her mouth quickly.

"Stop eating so fast, you're going to get sick." I warn her. She ignores me and continues to eat like a caveman. That's her problem now, she doesn't like to listen.

"Stop telling me what to do." She says covering her mouth while talking with food in her mouth. She finishes before we get to school, maybe her stomach can hold all of that, but I know for a fact mine can't. We get out of the car and go in opposite directions. She tells me where to pick her up after class and run before the bell rings.

My first class is History, which I find fairly easy because it's just memorization. That class blows through in the blink of an eye and I'm on to my next class, Aquatic Science. I'm interested in what goes on under water so I signed up. This class is actually fun. I don't talk to anyone other than the few guys that live in the frat house. We analyze fish scales with a partner, mine being Harry.
