Niall's P.O.V

"I don't want spaghetti,"

"I like the chips,"

"You're a pirate?"

I chuckle while Alex talks about random shit in her sleep. I turn her around, but she starts groaning and puts her arm around me, burying her face back in my chest.

"No, the purple one," Alex mumbles. I try not to laugh, so I put my chin on her head and close my eyes. I fall asleep until Alex starts thrashing around in her sleep and I hear whimper quietly, then sniffle.

I move back a little to see tears on her cheeks and her still kicking her legs, mumbling things that I can't understand. My hand gently shakes her arm, hoping that it would wake her up.

Alex's open widely and she sits up, wiping her cheeks off. I sit up, rubbing my hand over her back as she wipes her cheeks off. I know she's crying about Andy.

I put my arm around her, bringing her back down to the bed, and pull her into my chest. I can tell she's trying not to cry because she keeps gasping quickly.

"It's okay to cry, baby." I rub her back and kiss her hair. She sniffles and wraps her arm around me tightly. I feel my bare chest getting wet because of the hurt girl in front of me. She needs to know that it is okay for her to cry and she can't be tough all of the time. I snuggle her into my chest, like I did to Elle when she cried about us getting separated.

Alex silently cried for about thirty minutes until she fell asleep. I hate seeing her like this. As much hatred Andy and I had together, I want him to wake up.

------

We wake up at 7 o'clock because Alex has to go to work at 9. I scratch at her scalp while she groans about not wanting to get out of the bed.

"Niall!" I hear two people shout my name and I turn my neck slightly to see Nikki and Harry waving from their bed, well Nikki's bed.

"Hey," I say lowly because I just woke up.

"How ya holding up, mate?" Harry asks me.

"I'm great, thanks so much Harry. I really do appreciate what you did." He nods and kisses Nikki on the cheek. I turn back around to see Alex rubbing her eyes, stretching her body out, making that cat noise that I find funny now.

She gets out of bed and bumps into the wall next to her bathroom, making me chuckle at her. I turn to lay on my chest and text Elle back. She blew up my phone, reminding me not to forget about her graduation. I forgot she was graduating early. I forgot she wanted to come live with me. I live in a frathouse. Shit.

Alex comes back out a while later with a navy blue skirt on, a white v neck on, and silver and black sparkly flats, making me fully wake up. I get out of the bed, walking over to her, winking and she smacks my bum as I walk into her bathroom to shower. I cover my ass with my hands and close the door.

I put back on my same clothes and dry my wet hair with a pink blow dryer that I'm assuming belongs to Alex or Nikki.

Whenever I come out Alex is sitting on her bed, fully dressed, asleep with her head at the bottom of the bed and her feet under the pillows. I reach my phone out of my pillow and take a picture of her sleeping with her head buried in some stuffed animal.

"Wake up, sleepy head." I shake her back.

"I'm so tired." Alex says, rolling over and falls on the floor. She lays down and tries to fall back asleep.

"Come on." I tug her up by her hands, she stands up and puts her feet in her shoes, grabs her purse and we leave the room.

We get in the car and she sits in the passenger seat surprisingly. She leans her head on the window and dozes off. I pull into Starbucks to get her coffee because she is going to fall asleep at work.

She stays in the car while I go in to get our drinks, I lock the doors because I know she won't do it if I tell her to.

I get back in the car and give her the pink frap with caffeine in it. Alex thanks me, bringing the straw to her mouth and giving me a thumbs up.

"What kind do you have?" I shrug because I really don't know. I just pointed at the picture on the wall.

"Did you want to taste it?" I hand her my drink as I start driving out of the parking lot. I here her slurping and I glare at her, making her smile. I hate the sound of slurping, it sounds like newspaper being balled up.

Alex gives me hers and takes mine. I don't want this strawberry drink, I want my hot coffee, not this freezing shit.

"Can I have this one?"

"No." I chuckle still looking at the road. She hands me mine and takes hers back. The radio volume is raised higher and I try to change it before Alex can hear what song was playing.

"Turn it back!" She laughs, looking at me. I turned it back to that Lolly song and she starts dancing to the beat, while she sips her drink. I've heard this damn so many times in this car that I know most of the lyrics.

If she rolls her waist around in that seat one more time, I'm going to hit a car from staring at her. Alex turns it up higher, she turns to me singing the song.

"Alex," I scoot away from her fingers that keep touching my face. Her hand reaches on my face, taking off my sunglasses and slipping them on her face. The bass from the song is making my car buzz and Alex keeps dancing to the song.

"Give them back," I put my hand out so she can place them in my hand. Alex grabs my hand, waving it around with hers to the song. I don't even bother trying to get my hand away from her because I know she won't let go.

"We're here." I park the car and turn the radio down.

"It's 8:57. I have three minutes." She says slurping her drink.

"Stop slurping." I grin at her. Alex sets the drink down in the cup holder, then checks herself in the mirror with my shades still on her face.

"You have a minute, Alex." I start laughing at her because she's going to be late on her first day. She gasps and opens the door, but I pull her by her arm and lean my face into hers, slamming our lips together.

"Okay, okay. I have to go." She smiles, still kissing me. I give her one more kiss, then she gets out, waving bye to me as she walks inside.
