Niall's P.O.V

The way she boldy leaves the room has me on the edge, but I'm not going near her. The way her mood changes just by being on that monthly friend is scary. Thankfully, Alex just cries instead of getting pissy over a tiny thing.

"Alex, stop! Come here! What are you doing?" I jog after her while she runs. I have no idea where she's going, but I'm almost positive she doesn't want me to follow her there. It's almost six o'clock and she isn't even dressed to leave to the country club. She can at least come back to her mom's house and talk to me there.

I see Alex's dramatic ass sitting in her ball leaned up against a tree. The lake is nice too look at, but she wouldn't know that because she has her head down. She's probably seen it plenty of times anyway.

"Alex, I didn't even realize I scared you." I come a little closer.

"Go away and leave me alone." She says bluntly in a serious tone. I grab her hands softly and she hides her face even more in her knees since I'm holding her hands.

"Leave me alone." The way Alex's head pops up caught me off guard. She's red and her eyes are red and swollen.

The wind blows harshly and Alex pushes me backwards, not letting me even get a chance to react. I sit up only to have her hand smack the shit out of my cheek. She quickly stands above  me bending her leg to kick me in the ribs, but it didn't work. I wrap my arm around the back of her knees resulting in her falling onto her back, then after her face looks livid, I take off running onto a dock it was the closest thing I could run to without her catching me and possibly trying to strangle me.

"That isn't funny!" Alex yells furiously with dirt and grass in her hair.

"Well, you won't listen to me, so now you're up here with me and you don't have much of a choice but to talk to me because you're mad at me." I shrug and she begins running towards me. The chains on the deck break from the impact that Alex pushed me with.

Good thing she's coming along with me.

She pushed me and I caught her wrist before she moved it.

The terror scream that she let out was cute. I run my hands over my eyes as I float for a few seconds.

"Niall!" I hear Alex shout my name. I try to look for her but I don't see her.

"Niall!" I see splashing and hear her choking. She's punching the water to try to stay above water, but it's definetly not working.

The water is green, but I'm trying to look for her underwater. I'm fine with seeing fish, but having them close to my face like this. Fuck no. I hear loud screaming coming from underwater and grab two legs that are kicking nonstop, then swim back up. Alex is coughing up water while I swim back to the grass because her ass was screaming underwater like a maniac.

I hold her underneath her ass so she won't have her head above water and in case she gets sick from coughing so much, there is enough space for her to do so.
