Alex's P.O.V
I wake up in my dorm room and look around for Niall. I guess he drove me back here whenever I fell asleep. The sun is brightly shining and it's 11 o'clock. I love sleeping so much. Especially on the weekends.
Nikki comes out of the bathroom and comes out with a cream colored casual dress.
"Where are you going?" I ask her, sitting up.
"I got a new job at a clothing store in the mall and you have to wear dresses if you're a female." She answers me, shaking her curly hair, into loose curls.
I should look for a job. I forgot I'm running low on money. Andy usually gives me money, but we're not on good terms right now.
"Hurry up, I still have to go to work too." Harry peaks his head into the room.
"Morning Alex." He says shaking his keys around, waving. I return the wave and then they leave.
I grab my cell phone and I have one message.
Niall: I have work today, so I can't see you until later.
My face drops a bit, but then I realize that my friends have jobs and I don't, so I should go look for one. That's what an adult would do, so I'll go do it. Wait. Niall never even told me he had a job?
Me: It's okay.
Niall: I'll pick you up once I get off.
Me: What time do you get off?
Niall: 6 o'clock. I'll go to your dorm around 6:30, okay?
Me: Alright.

I walk around town, since I have no ride, looking for a job. It feels great outside. The sun is out, but it's not too hot because the wind is blowing and it's not too cold. I put on a black "skater skirt" as people call it and a white longsleeve shirt that's tucked inside of my skirt. The leopard print scarf ties the entire outfit together along with my black combat boots.
I have to look presentable. I see a pet store, but I don't want to smell like I've brought home a zoo with me after work, so I keep walking.
Clothing store? Nope. I hate folding clothes.
Ice cream parlor? I'd get fired from eating the ice cream.
Video game store? I don't even own an Xbox.
I see a help wanted sign in the window of a movie store. I like movies. Whenever I walk inside, I notice the shit load of movies everywhere and I get happy.
"Can I help you?" A man with perfectly styled brown hair and a British accent asks me.
"Yes, may I have a job application?" I say walking up to the counter, reading his name tag that says Daniel on it.
"We need serious help around here and we don't have time for applications," He laughs and I keep a straight face because I didn't find whatever he said funny.
"You can start tomorrow. Be here at 10 in the morning, you'll get off at 5 in the afternoon. I'll get your information tomorrow, so that we can transfer money into your account once you get paid." He says to me slowly.
