Niall's P.O.V

-

Alex rode me last week for the first time and I fucking loved it. I had to help her at first which I thought was funny and she thought it was embarrassing, but I'm used to her feeling embarrassed so I didn't pay much mind to it. Right after school, I'd drive her to either my place or her apartment, so I can "take care of her" as she says. The amount of tissue boxes she's gone through is ridiculous, so whenever I saw a group package, I immediately bought it.

Today Libby is coming over because Spencer is going out of town with Anna for the night. Alex said it was okay for her to stay here, I don't want Libby at the frat house around guys. Of course they won't try anything with her, it's just the leftover smell of cigarettes and trash all over the place.

I get a bit tired of coming home to a junky, cluttered place that smells. While Alex is asleep, cuddled up next to me, I'd get on my cell phone and see if there are any flats for sale in town. All I get is a room to myself everyday and night, I want a house to myself. Having my own kitchen, my own bathroom, my own living room makes me work over time at work to save up money to buy my own flat.

"What's wrong?" I click my phone off whenever Alex sat up quickly and started coughing so hard that it's making her body shake with every cough. I toss her a box of tissues so she can cough in those instead of covering her mouth with her hand, then go get a cold water bottle out of her mini fridge and sit next to her on the bed, patting her back.

I motion the water bottle closer to her and she looks up at me shaking her head, her eyes watering as her face turns red from coughing so much. Alex stops and clears her throat, then gulps down the water. She let's out a small chuckle once she sees my somewhat worried face.

Glasses adorn her face as she comes out of the bathroom sneezing into a tissue, reminding me of how I would call her a dork.

"Are you okay?" I ask, rubbing her back.

"Yeah, it was just a cough, Niall." She laughs. I push her over whenever she tries to kiss me and remind her that Libby is coming over. Spencer asked if I could babysit her today because he's going out of town with Anna, so of course I said yes. I love Libby and she's sick as well so I have to take care of two of babies today. Alex just has a cold, she's mainly coughing, but Libby is sick and needs more care. Especially because she's only four years old.

"I know, so don't have her so close to me or you, she's really sick." Alex says to me with a serious look like she knows that I'm not going to do as told. I know I probably won't either, but Libby is adorable and I haven't seen that curly haired troll in a while.

"Go answer the door," Alex blows her nose into the tissue.

I open the door and Spencer is looking to the side outside, waiting for Libby to come on.

"I don't wanna go to Anna's." I hear a small raspy voice complain.

"Anna's not babysitting you, silly." I peek around the corner and see Libby sitting on the ground with her princess pillow and sleeping bag. I guess she has to sleep in that to keep her germs to herself while she lays down. I can't help, but pick her up and let her kiss my cheek.

"Daddy! I missed you!" I laugh at her excitement and cracking voice because she's sick. Libby's loose dark brown curls got longer making her ponytail almost touching her bum and she got a little bit taller, coming a little above my knees. Spencer leaves and I carry Libby's sleeping bag, pillow, and stuffed elephant to Alex's room.
